Xar he gave you 40k at the beginning and then you gave him 40k back at the end so it was a duel for no gold. You owe him 40k

@@hartertobakgoy No, double or nothing of the 20k they did previously. The druid owed him 20k prior, he traded him 40. If Xar win, he keeps the 40, if he lost he trades it back (making it nothing)

Yeh in prepatch it hits hard but with scaling its not as viable in cata to just spam. All classes are like this rn though in their own way. Rogue ambush rn is busted

he was supposed to win 40 (double of 20) or loose everything (second 40+ first 20), so he should've returned 60, instead of 40

DR = Diminishing return. If you fear someone 3 times in a row it gets shorter every time. But DR times out after some time. If you fear, wait out DR timer, and fear again you have 2 full fears. What happened here was DR was about to time out but Xar stunned 1 sec too early, meaning he only he got a stun for half the duration of what it would've been if he waited 1 sec longer to throw the stun Hope that helps

he didnt win his money back. he traded xar the 40 upfront. he should win extra after wining not just win his money back. you are the dumb one. a normal duel would go like this. they bet 20k on a duel. xaryu wins and gets the 20k he says double or nothing. they would duel again and winner would get the 20k back. not pay xaryu before the duel then just get back what u bet. xar does this cuz hes a streamer so people dont scam

Except “double or nothing” originates from placing the same exact bet. So if he lost 20k, and bet 20k again, that would be double or nothing. Aka a clean slate. He lost 20k and bet 40k. Since he won, he should’ve theoretically been up 20k. The only way this is accurate, is if the Druid didn’t pay him 20k for the first duel that he lost.

Guys this isnt hard, the duel was double or nothing so after xar took the 40k if he won owed him nothing, if he lost he owed him double, that is why people are correctly saying xar scammed him by trading him back too much gold

Sorry but like how is this better than a retail duel between a mage and druid I get it it was fun at the time its nostalgic now but its not as fun as a frost vs boomy now this was just S L O W lol and boomy here overhealing like crazy icl watching this makes me appreciate retail more ik its not perfect but it is better you cannot deny the fact that retail requires much more skill than this rewatch this vid and you'll realise majorty of it is kiting unlike retail where you would see murder and intesity lol just my opinion tho hf everyone

These comments of people not understanding how double or nothing works is very, very painful. They dueled before, Xaryu won 20k. Instead of giving Xar 20k he gave Xar 40k, so this duel was double or nothing, meaning Xaryu keeps the 40k or gives it all back.

You need the context to realize that this was double or nothing of the 20k the druid already owed him. If Xaryu wins, he keeps the 40k gold (that's the double) and if he loses he trades it all back (that's the nothing)
