Are you dying the inside shoe cushions also? If not maybe try adding a zipLock bag inside with some rocks or gravel might help keep them down when you soak them

For the coffee go find some mud be better off. For the shaving cream just drop some icecream on your shoes or snow cone... these ideas just aint it.
