My bumpers have held up perfectly but I dropped it once and my left stick click hasn’t worked since but luckily I can just map that to one of the flaps on the back. It took some getting used to and when I buy the next elite series 2/3 I’ll be getting the extended warranty

I’ve had 6 Xbox Elite Series 2 controllers and every single one has lasted me maybe 2 months before the right or left bumper gave out and I took really really good care of them considering the price of the controller

40hr playtime. That’s really impressive. I still haven’t found rechargeable batteries that go for that long. Just my 25hr ones which are pretty good

I have an elite 1 grips failed, sticks drifted. Have now an elite 2 same again although lasted longer. I love my Xbox and controller but it really needs to be more reliable for that price range

On my 6th Elite 2 controller. All issues due to stick drift. Always out of warranty when it happens, but I started purchasing the $60 extended warranty from Best Buy because I know it's going to fail sooner or later 🙄

Same as PS5 controller issues as both use the same parts from the same company, I doubt if the new core will be using exactly the same parts for its internals unless the issues are fully resolved.

Ask for Model numbers I forget but the series 2 comes in two model numbers it’s by the barcode scan You can search up the exact model number . I picked one of these up and have had 0 issues so far . 1 year 6 months and still going strong. Better then the first one I picked which had every issue imaginable

Bought two elite series 2 controllers and both had stick drift. The first one didn’t get stick drift until around three months but the second one I bought had stick drift right out the box. Will not be buying another one until they produce these with the consumers in mind

Highly recommend this controller, especially with the new price tag, but I'm hoping the Elite 3 comes out soon. If they add extra bumpers like on the Razer Wolverine and changeable thumbsticks It'll be the perfect controller. Maybe make the face buttons more clicky and less mushy too

Love my Elite Series 2 but I’ve noticed the sticks on the reg Series X controller feel more responsive regardless of the adjustments I make on the Series 2 and the bumpers and buttons feel “punchier” as well. Has anyone else encountered this?

Try to go in your joystick settings in the Xbox Accessories App and put the sentivity type from Radial to --> Axis-Independent. It’s the original aiming type from normal controllers. I don’t know why it’s on Radial per default but i felt the same thing too.

Most common issue are the bumpers failing. It hasn't been fixed. I've gone through 14 warranty repairs exchanges at this point. :(

I posted on the new DualSense video about it, but as I was saying there, I wish controllers in the future, by default would adopt (what this seems to have and) what Steam Deck has with an L4/5 and R4/5. Giving more options to developers in creating an experience that makes the most sense to them for how they want players to play the game, but also just more customization for players.

I’m seeing fresh unboxing of these remotes with same buttons not registering half the time, just like my elite 2 that I had replaced little under six months old. This issue needs addressing and not being ignored! I love the remote for feel in the hand and inbuilt battery and adjustable sticks but my god please fix the reliability of these!
