Fuck Microsoft , I’ll emulate older games the good ones that I enjoyed years ago and move over to steam and ps5 permanently xbox shot themselves in the foot. I stopped buying games for xbox because of the stupid price increase for games going up to 70$ I stopped buying single player games and multiplayer games as well a few years ago because of game pass. Now with the price increase Ill pet my subscription end and idk maybe sell my xbox for some money atleast steam is decent with their discounts plus the fact they do have early access for games alpha tests for games something xbox does not offer. As an owner of ultimate Ive played a few games from it but lately theres nothing I want to play on it recently not to mention games just seem to be dying idk why but I see it happening. The thing is, Xbox players don’t buy games, so it doesn’t matter in the end. They will still say “I’ll just wait for it to come to Game Pass”. Said it from the beginning, gamepass is struggling to mortise itself and just isn’t catching on. I don’t see how this move will help it. So Microsoft is forcing game pass console ($10.99 per month) users to go to ultimate (now $20 a month) for day 1 releases, basically doubling the price for console users. While game pass PC gets a small bump to $11.99 because they know PC players can easily find deals on Steam and other places. Basically Microsoft is bending console players over a barrel. That pisses me off 🤬

That’s why I have been saying that Game Pass is a total scam for gamers. They gave up on the console side, so they have just become a streaming platform for games.

Way to stick it to console players. My Series X has been collecting dust since last year. I lost all confidence with Phil & company. That ship has sunk but is still sinking. It's a shame what has happened, but this is what happens when you rely on a service versus actually selling consoles and software.

The low tier is for children. It has to be. Those are the only people who wouldn't care about day and date.
