To be fair most of those games were developed for the GameCube anyways

+Zebure 01 When are you guys going to realize that motion control is for hardcore gamers too? Many people like me who have been gamers most of their lives( I'm 35 by the way) love the freedom of the Wiimote with FPS games. Playing GoldenEye 007 with the fluid motion of the Wiimote can only compare to PC FPS games. Sure the graphics aren't as good as PS3 or 360, but the game play is so much fun when it comes to shooters and the Wiimote. Maybe if you look past all the crappy party games like many of us did you would see this to be true.

fireheartis1 obviously there are motions game which is aimed at the hardcore gamer. But that's not why I and many others are negative toward motions gaming. What we are unsympathetic to are the fact that one of the weakest pieces of each year's E3 has proven to be motions gaming, because more than often, do they show games which we do not care about .. "casual game" may it be Kinect, Move or Wii games. Time which would have been better spent on real games, not Wii Music, Kinect adventure, or sport championship Beside many of us gamers prefer to sit on a couch and playing a game with a standard controller.

***** Well I have to give you that one, but I for one can play most games on the Wii while sitting on my couch. Wii became my favorite console of all time because of all the great exclusives, first party, and even some 3rd party ports that are so fun and even some that shine graphically on Wii. The Xbox Classic would be my second favorite console of all time that's why I was here watching. Anyways, I do get what you are saying for sure. There are 256 great games for Wii, but that's 256 games out of over 1,300. That means there is a lot of shovelware to sift through so I understand why you didn't like the motion controls and the games that came out for them. I guess I mistook your comment for just straight up hating on the motion controls when that wasn't true. For that I apologize for the mistake.

fireheartis1 Surely you can sit on the couch and play games, but you will not get away the fact that the console is built around Wii motions, a feature which many of us do not always want to take part in, be it waggle or standing up. which may not necessarily be because of that we have had a bad experince with it or we hate motions .. but the fact that people prefer to have a hand controller with two joysticks ... Np :) Okay :) My favorite console is either snes or ps2, because both of these offer a huge variety of great games .. Many of these games, which has spawned franchises. Also the console in themselves are all that one could ask for out of a unit. plug in a play, cheap, durable, good hand controllers.

@Super StarClear 2002 The reason Nuts and Bolts is the way it is is because Rare and Microsoft new that a traditional Banjo Game wouldn’t sell on Xbox. Banjo Kazooie doesn’t fit the Xbox demographic, not saying all Xbox fans aren’t interested but Thats what Steve Mayles said in an interview. He said that he thinks it would only sell on A nintendo console. The banjo series was screwed during the transition.

@@aaadj2744 Uhhhh...that's factually incorrect, the console war was far, far more relevant then than it was now. That's what fuelled such intense competition between Xbox and Sony and Nintendo at the time, so many great games, so much innovation, they were the golden years of gaming where gamers were divided by consoles and their exclusives and would be loyal to their console, each console had their ups and downs and their many great exclusives and it was damn hard to pick between them. Xbox-Gamecube-PS2, damn was it a great time to be alive as a gamer then. There are definitely positives now but...the industry has lost its soul, it is not the same as it was back then and it never will be. If we had the industry as it was back then today, we would be seeing way better than we have now and for sure no MTX/Unfinished hell that has destroyed freedom of creativity amongst the AAA space. Now Indies dominate and many look to them for hope for gaming's future. Sure there are some fantastic exclusives still now and then but....AAA space just pales in comparison to then or even the late 2000's. Graphics aren't everything, games were made with real passion and creativity then, nobody cared about concepts like MTX or Season Passes, it was just solid game-development we all took for granted and wished we had back. That's what makes it so nostalgic and fond to look back to the days where gaming was fun and innocent and straight up untainted by the endless BS and drama that we drown in now.
