Personally I think the FTC could do a much better regulation instead of stopping the merger. Mandate games be universal and sold in third party stores both IRL and digitally. Also digital products are owned by the purchaser

Sony definitely got the FTC fighting their battles. It’s good the FTC haven’t shown anything solid blocking the deal thus far except annoying the judge with their petty cross examination 😂😂😂

Honestly I feel the shift to a pc is more beneficial seen as we wave to pay to play an online game that we already payed a bunch for like sea of thieves and rdr online I can’t play because they need gold and guess what Not everyone can afford to pay six quid a month just to shoot your friend and rob a fort stacker

I suggest switching to PC. I did it back in 2019 mainly because of the online subscription. I haven't looked back since.

The Funny thing is MS market cap just jumped over 300 Billion, Sony and Nintendo combined is 140 Billion, so that is Sony +Nintendo + 2 X Activison deals and they would still have 20 Billion for chips dips and cold beers

Sony is the reason Microsoft is buying studios. Sony tried making Starfield an exclusive but Microsoft made sure that wasn't happening. Sony will also put in contracts that games are to not go to Game Pass.
