In my opinion If you want to focus on playing games with 4K support and want the convenience of a console, the Xbox Series X should be a great choice. But if you want the ability to upgrade, access to more games, and a multi-purpose system, a PC should be your pick. but its really ur choice

since its new chapter, the map is harder to run for pubs. in my opinion with other stuff running in the background, u might not get a consistent fps with the pc and may drop to unplayable levels when in a build fight.

if you were to optimize the pc you will get like 200 fps in game with a 1660 like in the settings of the pc like turn of game bar and turn on game mode and delete the temp files and in task manager set the priorety in fortnite to high

the fact the series x can run 4k 120 fps stable with barely any drops to no drops is crazy its that powerful for a console

Great video! In our case Fortnite looks and runs better on the Series X. My TV has some 4K capabilities which helps make the game look better than it does on my PC. My PC has an i7 8700k, GTX 1060 6GB, and 16GB of DDR4 RAM. If I had a better GPU then my PC might give the Series X a good fight.

i agree with getting a pc to upgrade i bought a pc for 600 and it came with a 1650 super, an i5 10th gen and 16 gigs of ram then i upgraded with the rtx 3080 ti, 64 gigs of ram and the i7 13th gen

hey vermax i got the same exact pc you used in the $590 setup. i play on all low settings and in creative i dont get that much fps like you do. Have you done any optimizations or chnage any pc settings to it to get more fps? please lmk

I tried PC gaming a while back and it sucks with all their different clients. Also often you to have deal with evasive DRM too no thanks. I tried playing Apex Legends on PC and there was players on their that were invincible. I bought the remastered version of COD4 on Steam and the game wouldn't start. I spent two hours trying to figure it including looking online for a fix but nothing worked. I got a refund then I booted my PS5 and was having fun within seconds. A few days days later I returned the RTX 4070 ($600) and got my money back. I'm happy I tried PC gaming but never again. The only thing I use my PC for is internet use/light work and emulators that's all it's good for well at least for me. I know there will be people who say it's cheaper in the long run but it's not,(those days are gone) consoles have game sales all the time. Just one component a decent GPU for the PC is the cost of the current gen console alone.

I had a pc back in 2020 and it had a gtx 650 ti, 8gb ddr3 ram, i5 4th gen and got 300+ fps in creative. But in game it got about 30 fps. I have no clue why.

This is the ultimate caparison, because you can get way more performance if you do a custom build which you didn’t do, but let’s see what happens!

the only way you can build something faster for 500dls is literally by avoiding pre builds. but at the same time you need a used GPU cause the series x has something around Rtx 2080 so, maybe a used 3060 ti at least, even if its just a 8gb card wich is a terrible buy in 2024.

An i3 10300 may confuse people but quickly explaining it look at the last numbers after the modle to figure out if it's good or not like an i9 6900k will bottle neck a rtx 4090 buy an i3 14100f will support it perfectly fine

Stable FPS, easier to manage, and better for casual gamers go with the Xbox series X. Hyper competitive tournament gamers or professional gamers, go with a gaming PC. When it is a business, PCs are the clearly the better choice.

If you just want to plug and play Console is the way. If your a harcore gamer and going to be gaming along time, or have other interests like coding or editing PC is the only way. It unlocks so many things. That being said even if you get a 500$ PC you still need a desk, chair, monitor/2nd monitor, keyboard, mouse, mousepad. It really is way more expensive.

i think the pc is doing bad only because of the cpu, performance mode is more of a cpu demanding game. You should test that by comparing like a pc with really good cpu, but bad gpu, and another pc with a great gpu, but not so good cpu.

if you dont have a computer and you just need a all purpose device than get a pc. that being said if you have a laptop, a mac, or a pc and you just wanna play games at 4k 120 fps consistenly, get a next gen consle becuase for the price it is way more worth it if you have a computer

I will be honest with you I don't think forntnite is a good example of testing which one is a better bang for your buck maybe something like halo infinite or a higher demanding game that's optimize for both Xbox and pc

Building it its better. i did: 1660ti, b450, 32gb ram, 2tb m.2, 7 5700x, a good air cooler and case and 750w psu all new but the gpu mobo and ram. For 500 dollars can run fortnite at 200fps

If you optimize you can get stable 160fps easily. You just have to know how to optimize

500 for a 4 cores cpu isnt a biiit too low like im saying nothing but an i5 12400f with a h610 mobo 2 sticks ram 8 3200mhz a maybe a 1tb ssd if u get a good deal on it and a 650w psu + a new rx6600xt or a used like new 6700 xt and ur good for 1080p / 2k gaming
