The Xbox Stereo headset (Wired) has the best Mic quality in my opinion.

All you need is the headset adapter for the controller. Then you can control the game chat audio. Most of us have one of those already. I use a turtle beach adapter and it works perfectly. The sound is amazing for a $60 headset. I have the Astro A50's and these wired headphones are on par if not better. I use Dolby Atmos for headphones and the sound quality is Amazing on these. If you want to be picky you'll always find something to complain about. I can't stand battery powered headsets anymore so these are perfect in every way for me. Nothing worse than sitting down for long gaming session with a dead headset.. I give a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating for these .

The wired is an awesome deal. It’s often on sale. The wireless microphone is terrible, plus the need for charging is a turn off. Eventually, the battery will die.

I have the wireless ones and love them. Got my son the wired because he never charges his. The sound profile is completely different, does not do Microsoft spatial audio, and does not support the Dolby Atmos Codec either. The wired is just a stereo headset. The atoms is wheres its at. It adds big sound and more EQ adjustment. Just some info that's not in this video.

Just got a new head set! And the mic won't work, i can hear players but i cant talk to the... Iv done everything in the settings in the game and on my Xbox. If you only use the 3.5 mm to the controller you are only getting 2 channel stereo. Isn't that the main difference between wired and wireless when it comes to the audio?

I don’t really like the chat mixer, its not very easy to dial in and it moves with taking it on and off. I have the wireless headset, but I cracked the arm a little bit so it could give out at any time. The battery life on it isn’t that impressive either considering I get 40 hours out of similar sized over the ear headphones lol. Does the wired one support dolby atmos as well?

I find it incredible that so many headphone reviews hardly talk about the sound quality… you know, the most important thing for headphones? But, luckily you mentioned the most important thing - the sound quality is barely better in the wireless ones. And the sound on the wired ones is appalling, unfortunately I own them 😂

For anyone who has damaged the wire for the Xbox wired headset. Just goto target and say that you bought the headphones yesterday and it came with a damaged wire. They will replace it without a receipt. 😂😃

Comprei este fone, com uso exclusivo no pc. Conecta atraves do receptor do controle xbox. A dúvida é a seguinte: nas configurações de hardware, está limitado a 16 bits, 48000 (qualidade DVD). No Rtings, diz que foi testado a 24 bits 48000 (qualidade estúdio). Porém, usarsm pc e xbox. Alguém sabe algo a respeito? É possível mudar a taxa de amostragem no Windows? Até o momento, nao consegui, mesmo atualizando tudo que é drive.

They should have made the mic quality much better. Console playing is much about multiplayer gaming so the mic is important and they know that. In general there should be an application on the Xbox to test the microphone, similar to Skype.
