The ear cup dials on my unit are smooth

You guys are so awesome. Your approach is exactly what one needs when wanting to make an informed buying decision. Great stuff, been a big fan for years and just got reminded while shopping a new headset for my Series X. Thanks for the excellent information!

I like how the xbox headsets don't need a dongle, we only have 3 USB ports on consoles and having to take one up for headphones on playstation really really sucks!

For a quick adjustment with the Xbox EQ app I get the best sound with the "Voice" preset.

I like how these can connect to the Xbox Accessories app on Windows and customize the mic monitoring level. I use these for taking calls from my home office, and they're excellent for that use case.

All my buds tell my my voice sounds a bit muffled. Noticeable latency when connected to my series X, as well. Disabling the Dolby effects helps but it’s still not as fast as my wired-to-controller set up

This might be niche but,can you do a list of headsets that are good for working from home? Like my issue is I can't do wireless because I don't want to deal with charging the battery and more emphases on comfort and phone calls.

Have 2 of these in the house. Both have smooth dials. I really like the build quality over the Turtle Beach 600 gen 2 that I had. The stock profile I don't like but love that you can customize with the equalizer settings. I would like it if you could disable the function that turns on the xbox when ever you turn on the headphones. Also I would prefer the mic to just flip up to turn off instead of a button. Probably more based on habit to me more than design. Over all I am very happy with them. Also like that you can link to phone and xbox at the same time. Now I wont have to hear my sons friend that plays keyboard and mouse. He can simple link the headset to the phone. :)

If these Headphones 🎧 are a strong 6 & barely a 7... The other headphones that's unanimously better gots to b nothing short of symphonic & beastly because I own these the wireless Xbox Headset & these bitches are extremely spectacular! I sync it to my phone (which has Dobly Atmos) & Xbox & I'm blow away by the sound quality! With my personal EQ settings these headphones are all I'll ever need to game with ‼️ they so KOLD to me, I recommend them time & time again! I be on the Xbox, in a party(5+ppl), watching cut scenes, answering calls talking to ppl in the party & ppl on the call simultaneously where as if I wanted to let em, the ppl in da party could hear my convo, in a clubhouse & then listen to KZfaq videos, for hours & not one problem. Shitz, sublime🔥. Truly. Only thing they could of did to make em perfect is better range.. I go maybe 20 steps away & they start to lose connection to the game. 😅 But I make in range b4 it needs to reconnect to the Xbox but stays connected to my phone. Lastly, it's really jus crazy that not only does it sync to the Xbox automatically & cut on the Xbox when I turn the headphones on, I could disconnect em from my Xbox & then use em as regular wireless headphones that can pair to 2 Bluetooth devices simultaneously like my phone 📱 & laptop 💻 or headset in one room & Bluetooth speaker 🔊 in another. Mann, what more do u need. My overall grade in a 11/10 💪🏾. Ez ‼️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Mine won’t connect to my Xbox anymore after 2 hours of use unless I restart my xbox. Just makes a glitched sound when it connects and turns off, only a full power cycle of my console resolves the issue but comes back again after it turns off. Really disappointing

Does the right volume dial feel like it has less tension to you guys compared to the left one, or are they about the same?

Sorry i dont wonna sound rude, but comparing 100 € xbox headset with 210€ steelseries 9x isnt bad? I can understand that xbox has difects and problems, but i think its obvius that 110 € more make difference in quality... sorry if i wrote something wrong, anyway nice and techical review.

What headphones would you guys recommend me to get if I want to use the mic to talk with my friends and have 0 latency? I got an Xbox X about a month ago and I never owned a pair of headphones for gaming on console. My budget is $250

I have the same issue with the volume wheel and the rattle sound is much more noticeable on the earcup without the mic. Quite disappointing build quality. MS usually have a good attention to detail for things like this.

I have this headset and when trying to use the microphone on PC, I could not get it to work unless I plugged it in. Not sure if people have a solution for the microphone working over Bluetooth.

I'm used to open back headsets so I found this headset sounded incredibly dull and muddy and had to send it back. I hope they'll make an open back version in the future. Edit: oh yeah and the Atmos feature increased the delay by a lot

These are great but they not as good as the Tempest 3D Audio on Sony headphones but the xbox headset build quality is far better
