Ben, Tenere salesman of the year. Lol. A lot of how the Tenere’s off road handling is due to the geometry of the two drive sprockets. It keeps the front end down more firmly under power. One of the really cool things about it.
@SwankyCatProductions
@SwankyCatProductions 3 жыл бұрын
Haha thanks! Yeah I think between that and the long forks/high front end it really carries it's weight well.

Talking to an ex-journo mate here in NZ, it looks like the KLR is going to just be a VERY basic upgrade to get it in line with emissions and ABS requirements. I hope he's wrong, but maybe Kawasaki want to grab a different part of the market, for whom even the cheap T7 is not attainable.

What year model is the Tiger?
@peterswanson3446
@peterswanson3446 3 жыл бұрын
Well of course the Tenere is better... but hate to tell ya, the Tiger shines with British sophistication and beauty over the utilitarian look of the Tenere. With that being said, dear God I want a Tenere. Lol
@SwankyCatProductions
@SwankyCatProductions 3 жыл бұрын
After looking at the Tenere so much I feel like the front of the Tiger looks old or something, probably just the headlights. But from the side, the Tiger really is a pretty slick looking machine. The Tenere is cool looking, dirt bike-ish, but doesn't have all the intricate lines like the XC800.

Just picked up a 2014 xf7000 sno pro turbo and now I’m in need of storage, don’t like parking it out doors🤔rent a storage shed? Buy enclosed or non trailer, buy a fat ass chain and lock it up like it’s gold!? Wonder if I’m allowed to park inside a storage shed? , I need to move to a new area, maybe it’s time to start looking into buying a house. Lucky work is across the way and have to park my truck and sled there🤷‍♂️
@SwankyCatProductions
@SwankyCatProductions 3 жыл бұрын
Nice. I think an enclosed trailer might be your best bet next to a house. I know a lot of guys with garages who still store there sleds in trailers. As long as you can get it in and out easy, it's good for year round storage.

Amazing how much of a difference weight makes. Case in point snowmobiles. 15 lbs is about the difference between a 2 stroke motor and a 4 stroke. But if you talk to people who ride off trail, that bit of weight off the nose is noticeable enough that 2 strokes dominate the crossover and mountain segment.
@SwankyCatProductions

True. On the road it's not that much of an issue but off road or off trail every pound counts.

@@SwankyCatProductions I'm definitely no expert, but now my back tire follows the front, doesn't clog up.. wondering if shoulda put the adventure on the front (rallz front starts buzzing a bit at 30 mph).. may be something for you to try when your rear is spent👍
@SwankyCatProductions
@SwankyCatProductions 3 жыл бұрын
I can't remember which way around it was... but I read something about miss matching the front and the rear for the best outcome. I had thought about trying it but decided I'd just try each as a set and decide from there. I can't say I've noticed any vibrations from mine. I'm pretty accustomed to knobby tires now to the point I may not even know what smooth is... but mine feel pretty darn smooth lol.
