I feel like these dolls are proof that kids deserve to have nicely designed detailed things, because if all the attention to the face and body design- *cough* (mattel take notes) *cough*

as a black doll collector, i've wonder why its SO hard to give black dolls brown eyes. most black kids have brown eyes and its really important to see that that eye color is beautiful too! not just this brand but so many brands like rainbow high and etc! ive noticed this since i was a kid buying dolls, ik diversity is getting better but this is something that still rubs me the wrong way! esp since alot of these doll lines aren't fantasy lines so it doesn't make sense for the eyes to always be blue or green!! anyways these dolls look super cute ♡

I have one of these girls. The head is really easy to pull off. It has a massive neck peg. You've been warned lol. To get the head to move better you have to pull the head up a little bit up on the peg. I think when assembling the doll some were pushed too far down on the peg. Hope that makes sense! Love your vids.

I really like Sydney's color palette! I'm surprised how much I like these I'll have to keep an eye out for them.

I guess my few complaints are similar to yours though: their blind box aspect and the line not having more diverse eye and skin colors. I still want to pick up at least five of these lol Getting Triceratop Pheobe and Dalmatian Dotty are my top priority!

These are sooo cute! I don't think I'll be collecting them but I know I have to get Phoebe and Dottie. Also right now i get my niece OMG and Rainbow High dolls because of the quality. But she's 6 and loses their tiny accessories easily. This line has the perfect balance of quality and simplicity for a young collector.

Excited these are finally showing up in stores! Their faces are so cute. Though I hope the clothes being see-through isn't a problem for all the dolls. Also, really glad you pointed out how weird it is that 6 of the current 8 dolls all have some shade of blue eyes, it's been driving me crazy 😅 I'm worried it's gonna be the status quo tbh. Most of the characters in the show have blue eyes; there's like two girls in the main cast with green ones and that's it. Especially paired with Phoebe being the only doll with darker skin (and the show only having one other dark-skinned main character, one of the boys), it just rubs me the wrong way. Like toy companies should know better with diversity by now idk 🤷🏽‍♀

So I bought the 2 pack and for $40 I had disappointments - Coney’s hat did not fit her head and the barrettes for Sydney I tried my best to see if I could make them work with no luck. I will also say I wish these weren’t a blind doll I feel like the boxart is a bit cuter than the execution lately I feel like dolls and toys are just producing a lot of packaging waste like I don’t have space to keep cardboard playsets. I did see a friend on Instagram got the Dalmatian 1 and her hat fits not sure if Stella’s fits or not based on the 1 review I’ve seen so far. It wasn’t addressed which I was kind of like 🤦🏻‍♀️. I like the ones with bangs. The eye placement seems to be very far down on the faces and something about Sydney just I wasn’t living for her so def was bummed to buy a 2 pack and only feel happy with 1 doll. I also don’t like the purple plastic stands tbh. I appreciate the articulation and I like to see companies try fashion dolls hopefully if these continue we’ll see improvements 🤞👍 oh I will say if Imc toys makes fashion packs for these I think they would hugely up their game like I still might consider trying another 1 just not anytime soon since there’s just too many releases to keep up with.

I'm so excited about these! Seriously what wonderfully designed dolls. Nice to see someone putting quality into dolls for a younger audience. Not a fan of painted on bras, especially with lighter clothing because they tend to show through, but it's not a big enough thing to put me off the dolls.

I think they look so cute! The only issue I have is the entire line seems to have blue eyes besides two of them. Overall I love them!

I just bought some of these dolls, and I found that if you gently pull up on the dolls head, you can position it on the neck ball so that you can make it articulate better!

yay i'm so happy they're $20! i had seen somewhere saying they were going to be $35 and i was really worried!

oh they are as good as I thought they'd be. when you said they had good nylon hair at sweet suite I was hooked! I love that they have cute faces with inset eyes, good quality hair, clothing with socks included and the blushing on the knees is really unique. my fave is katie because she's kinda tacky and looks like she would be my fave when I was 5 years old lol! she really looks like a 90's/early 2000's lisa frank bootleg keychain. back to the dolls tho... it's good to have a new high quality doll line from a not-so-big company. I guess IMC toys really made bank on those crybabies to get us this quality on the bff dolls from the get go lol. however, I am dissapointed with the "blind" packaging, especially since your sydney had a little lip chip, and there was no clear way to see it before opening the box. even MGA is kinda moving away from blind packaging on the LOL OMG dolls. (but I guess keeping it on the RH accessory packs...) oh and the bff doll stand is hilarious, like... that's a really unnecesarily tall doll stand.

I love these. They haven't made it to my area yet, but I'll definitely get a few when they do.

Omg! They remind of of Shoppie dolls! I always thought they were cute but it is true that they were a bit on the cheap side with their moulded on tops and not very detailed skirts and accessories.

Sydney looks like could be Daphne Minton's younger sister with her hair and eye color. I won't be getting any of these dolls, as their styles don't really appeal to me, but Krystal is probably my favorite from this line with her icy, polar bear theming.
