These really are so special. I’m very excited to see where these go and I hope that there is some type of content to support them. From speaking even just to their sales people at Toy Fair they genuinely understood what Decora fashion is all about which I thought was incredible… I’d expect the designers and press people to “get it” but the others?? very special.

I know they’ll have a fantastic setup at Walmart at launch… i imagine they’ll be available at most retailers that have major toy sections!

@@xCanadensis cool I’m excited :-) do we have any news on these rumored Storeywood Dolls but MGA might be producing? I don’t think I’ll ever get a rainbow eye and a giant ball gown so I’m hoping this way we might lol also does anybody know about the new strawberry shortcake ones? Rainbow High sry I think it would be amazing to have one in the ballgown silhouette but with the way the reboot is going, I don’t think we will so my only hope is these rumors storybook or fancy ones they might be making.

The big fashion dolls are not in blind boxes! I’m hoping the blind boxes have codes but I don’t know about that yet (but the minis are actually $10 each which I was shocked by)

@@iTiffanyi you have nothing to apologize for- it wasn’t clear! Interestingly the stock photos for some minis came out from a European distributor and they’re NOT blind packaged?? But I imagine that’s because they have laws against blind packaged products there… I’m really hoping these are like that here too but I doubt it!

Which scale? I liked that they did big and small dolls so anyone can enjoy them

@@xCanadensis I guess the overall look? I remember in the 80s when my little sister started getting those rainbow brite dolls, and these just immediately called those back to mind. I also don’t think there’s enough original content going into these dolls, and the inspirations for their clothing left me wanting more. There is so much room in the market for a line of dolls with academic dreams…real ones. Not just a vague interest in ‘space’, or ‘trees’. More focused…maybe each doll could actually be studying a subject…so instead of her inspiration being space, she could actually be a student in a space program? Same goes for the one who likes rainbows? Meteorology, maybe? And instead of just liking bees, have her study them. I hate all the dumbing down all the time. Girls are capable, and complex, and these dolls don’t reflect that for me. Three of these dolls seem to be the same, all inspired by nature etc. Maybe the team could have taken more time in choosing for those The world is so full of fascination. No need to repeat the same theme in three of them. Overall, I wish we had a line of dolls that reflected how smart girls are, and inspired them to pursue interests far beyond catching butterflies in nets. They also remind me of Strawberry Shortcake, in the same way as Rainbow Brite. I don’t see much originality with this line. Can I just add that I’m not a doll collector, just love the videos. And I think you are such a breath of fresh air for the doll community. Your positive, upbeat personality comes through in every upload.
