I can feel it. BTS has always been that voice for me who keep saying me that they believe in me even if no one is there to do so. And that what matters. Before I used to hesitate to say no and yes for thing I feel but after I meet them I have got a kinda confidence that I can say so if I feel it cause there is a voice that says I belive in you and that's BTS.

I'm so glad you talked about the fact that not all ARMYs are teenage girls. It may seem controversial because I am in fact a teenage girl myself, but I know there are many ARMYs out there who are older. I sometimes feel uncomfortable telling people I like BTS because most people immediately assume all of ARMY is just teenage girls who like BTS because they look handsome. It's something that makes me angry at times because while the first thing that catches the eye may be their looks as well, it's not nearly enough for you to become a fan. ARMYs don't love BTS because they're handsome. ARMYs love BTS because they're talented, they spread positive messages through their music, their personalities are genuine, and they're just amazing people. If they're handsome or not does not make a difference. Honestly I'd stan BTS even if they looked like a bunch of potato sacks.

I wudnt hv known to put it better. I am/was like this. I am in the process of getting up for myself. I fear the same thing. I cudnt tell ppl that I am an Army. But now it's like I tell sometimes and sometimes I fear it so I don't. That's y I am in the process. Whoever reading this and want to stand up for themselves, FIGHTING✊

Thank you! I am a proud 53 y/o ARMY. Young people have asked me how does it feel to be 53? I always say the same: I feel young inside just like I felt when I was 15 only with a mature mind of course, what betrays us is our bodies that don't look and feel young anymore. Our age doesn't prevent our soul of feeling the goodness of life and BTS is one of the goodness we have in life.

I am 57y/o korean army. I met BTS when I was suffering from panic disorder and depression. I haven't forgotten BTS for a day since. I am so proud and happy to be in a rabbit hole called BTS. Kim Namjoon, Kim Seokjin, Min Yoonki, Jung Hosuk, Park Jiman, Kim Taehyung, Jeon Jungkook, BTS! They are the savior of my life.

Same 💜💜💜 They've helped me so much, I don't think I would be alive today if it wasn't for them and I'm not being dramatic, this is for real. Been through a lot of shit with mental health problems and they've helped keep me safe when reality was bending, help kept me motivated to survive so I could make it through and get help. Not only once. They still are a safe space for me when I need it and I'm forever grateful.. I'm gonna stop writing now cus I'm crying a little 😖💜

I saw a video of a huge crowd of one particular football fans destroying one man's restaurant in public, all the table and chairs were destroyed and they were pushing the owner down in the most disrespectful way....... while suppossedly immature kpop fandoms have been doing so much for the community, countless donation in the name of fandom and their artist , planting trees, literally building forest, literally taking care of an entire village and so on

The easiest way to break it is to just continue what we're doing and pay no attention to the stereotypes. There will be those people who criticise for no reason at all, and will always surface around us because we are at the top and super influencial.. whenever you see those people from now on, and look at them and smile because you'll be reminded of this reply i'm writing... which tells you to think that them existing around us like this just *further proves how great we are* ... understand? The world is too big and clueless, and I'm not the type to sugar-coat words and say that 'we can change it'... instead, we can just change the way we look at it. For our own good. Bashers will be bashers, Haters will be haters. But Army will remain Army , always ready to defend BTS no matter what. The haters & antis are the insecure groups who don't have the charisma, purity, creative genius , & positivity that BTS have. I just feel sorry for the haters, bashers, antis coz they sulk with such negativity & toxicity probably because they are in a wrong fandom. Whereas with BTS & Army, we are so happy & contented that we don't have time nor the appetite to go for prejudice nor hatred.

Unfortunately some of us have had a very hard time finding our place, being accepted, making friends & included in bts army. For some of us bts army fandom is more like an exclusive club, instead of an all inclusive fandom. Maybe Im wrong, but Im speaking soley about my experiences. Not being toxic, just struggling. Love BTS, but needing guidance as to what to do. I stay to myself, dont engage or interact w/ others. ( I have a huge social anxiety/ panic disorder, I also suffer from clinical depression)So yeah, Im needing help w/ this.

People are just by nature fearful of what they don’t know and understand. And the more ignorant they are the more they are stubborn and unbending. Education is the best teacher. Educating through actions is the best. Patience and continuous actions like creating contents like this can hopefully help people understand. Don’t be sad, there’s good in each of us. Let us see that and everything will be fine. The goodness of ARMY reached my shores. It will also reach other shores. 👌💜

id also like to point out that while we have the power to sell out anything bts touches, we’re also very smart consumers that realize our dollars are essentially our votes. we purposely ignore (or boycott) projects that are disrespectful to bts (often due to racism or xenophobia), & still expect quality products. bts’ management, bighit, also do heavy research & choose to work with companies that share similar missions or backstories as bts

Yes thanks for pointing out that. There are times when brand says "just bring me bts and I will pay you with as much money as you want". There have been so many offers to BTS from various luxurious brand companies but BTS decides very carefully with a lot of effort to see if the brand's philosophy really matches with BTS or not.

When I started becoming a fan of BTS’s music (in April 2019) I did not know what I was getting myself into because I never heard of them or their fans. But A.R.M.Y helped me learn so much about how to be a good fan of BTS, their music, their messages and their authenticity. A.R.M.Y. is such a loyal, smart, funny and creative fanbase. I’ve learned so much from them and BTS. Thank you xCeleste for such a great video.

We have been so used to misunderstood and being not acceptable, even by K-pop fandom who just kicked us out that everytime someone even give us a thumb up, we cry. Nobody listen to us until we scream and take things to our hand except for BTS that we are used to being in action and dominate and always in guard, that a small smile melts our heart. Reminding us Army how much we have had to study psychology, literature, art, ballet, paintings, history, Korean language, Korean and Asian traditions, mythology etc, etc. Army has done all this studying to be able to understand BTS' discography (lyrics and music videos). Hey, my middle name is Mercy and I’ve been a fan of BTS since I was 11 and now I’m 18, at 11 years old I was going through a lot of pressure from everyone around me. It was always about school and becoming a surgeon or a lawyer, I was always good in school with high grades but those grades were high due to the amount of sleeps I lost, the amount of nosebleeds I’ve had, the amount of headaches I’ve had and I as a person who was always nonchalant I found it hard to express my feelings. The first time I came across bts was when I saw a really tanned boy with his shirt up and chocolate bar abs, not gonna lie that’s was why I watched it...it was their first debut stage and honestly at first the dancing was amazing but unfortunately the song was in Korean and I didn’t understand, however I looked the English version up and the lyrics literally reached out to me and had me feeling more confident and took some weights off of my shoulder and from then on I’ve been listening to bts I gave birth at 16 and going through people talking and gossiping about me, even my families [like my aunties, uncles some of my cousins] they said my brain was such a waste for a person like me and that I won’t succeed in life and I’d have to keep going through hardships and shit.....even though I had a kid at 16 I still went to school and thanks to bts i went with my head held high, I’m now 18 with a 2yr old son and I graduated at the top of my classes and as head girl😊 when my 2yr old was a baby I’d play Serendipity which calms him down, when Winter Flower by Younha ft RM came out my son fell in love with that song😊 now my son is 2 he can talk and sing, he knows all the lyrics to serendipity bc he grew listening to it and he knows the singing bit of Winter Flower [he said the guy (RM) was talking too fast and he can’t talk that fast] so every now and then because I’m also a guitarist, we sit outside singing serendipity and winter flower with the guitar

@@jinniesloveddadjokes4674 thank you 💜 honestly I was going to drop out of school bc of how I was pregnant and bc the pressure that my families and everyone around me pushed on me was gon stress me out and do some damage not only for my mental health but also for my baby....then when my son was born I started to re-think about dropping out of school bc now that I have a son I should provide the best for his future so I ended up finishing school as head girl and graduated as a top student and my baby’s dad my boyfriend of 4yrs, graduated as head boy and top sport student, my son loves Jimins voice actually, he can recognise his voice in any bts songs except the growling, yes he’s 2 but he’s already talking/singing and as of now he’s always been watching me and his dad playing the guitar that every now and then when I’m cooking for my family I see him strumming the guitar in front of my parents singing winter flower [Younha&RM]

It made me so emotional to hear the praise about army, because here where I live it's very lonely as an army, there aren't many of us around - I'm glad I can connect to army's all over the world through twitter, it's just heartwarming to belong to this great community. There was our love for BTS that connected us but now it's just so much more. Borahae, Army~

This is so true... Like in here, it's hard to say your an ARMY because the people will bash you but what's even worse is they bash the boys. It's like they're making yoy feel like you are just an ignorant and naive girl who stans some kpop guys which makes my heart hurt more.

ARMY really reminds me of Michael Jackson fans... I was born in family of Michael Jackson fans, I've met a lot of them and I've participated in different projects since I was really young. I grew up with messages of songs like Heal the World/Man in the Mirror/Earth Song. Although I got into the different fandoms as I was growing up (JB, 1D etc.) they've never really been that active about anything else than promoting their faves and that's also great but I was missing something ... ARMY is the only one who by their actions remind me of MJ fandom and they never fail to surprise me. I joined ARMY pretty late, just 2020 but seeing everything they've achieved and everything they're doing... wow. Love you ARMY. Thanks for using your voice well. I love you all.

one of the reasons that made me become an ARMY was armys themselves I already liked the boys and their songs but been worried about the things I would hear as a fan of a boyband but after I learned more about the boys and armys and all they've done together and still doing I start to proudly say I'm a member of the most beautiful and diverse family.

i honestly cried...It was so hard especially back in the days when other fandoms and the music industry as a whole kept pushing us down, but seeing the Tannies efforts and struggles pushed us to do more. we streamed harder, we orgnanized ourselves, we payed for billboards, for charity projects, we even sent flowers to radio stations just to give our boys their well deserved platform so that everyone could see what we saw in them. I am so proud of you Army, as a veteran Army i am so happy to see our fandom grow bigger and stronger day by day. thank you Celeste foe this awasome video. boraheee

I don't care about people who say ARMY is toxic, they don't know the fandom, our history or all of the things we do. There are bad and crazy individuals all over the internet, but they prefer to generalize just one fandom. ARMY is one of the best fandoms i've been to, in 5 years as a fan, I never wanted to leave this house

Yall this is crazy because I remember in 2013 when I was little I heard their graduation song and was obsessed with it but the problem was that I didn't know who sung it and end up forgetting the song. But now 7 years later I found bts and coming to find out it was them who sung it. And I'm tearing up because it's like I found them and they found me again. 💜

I'm very new to the fan base and I'm over 40. They have performed at the facility at the company I work for a few times. I poopooed them away not giving them any attention. Then this year after the live Billboard Music Awards I finally took the time to watch their Dynamite video and the live Billboard Award Butter video and I said.....wait a minute! I couldn't stop playing both videos. So here I am a month later watching everything I can and still discovering all aspects of this phenomenal group. I am obsessed!💜🔥💫

Before ARMY, I felt so powerless and hopeless in my life that things could truly change and be better. BTS gave me the invitation into this world, but it is ARMY that stays with me every day, all around the world. Constant voices of encouragement, hilarious content creators that take our mind off the world for a moment and just keeps you in that safe bubble. I say BTS saved my life, but it was BTS AND ARMY walking together forever that pushed me to be a better person, to get out of bed, to laugh again, and to meet the people who are now my soul mates in this purple youniverse we created together. So thank you BTS and thank you ARMY. I am so proud to be in this global family. 💜💜💜

Sometimes I'm more comfortable talking about personal struggles in this fandom than my family, I've met and interacted with people I'm not close with, but just simply share the same interests in bts as me but felt more related and comforted than some of my closest friends, I'm very glad to be apart of this amazing fandom and be on the same era of bts. I'll forever be an Army and walk bts and army in bad and good days😊 I purple BTS and Armys💜

This made me cry because so many people portray us as toxic crazy fangirls without actually looking in on our fandom and see what we're trying to do. I just hope many people see us in a good light that we can also do good things and that we are not hormonal crazy teenage fangirls. ♡ We army's are family, kind, hard working people that just want our boys to also be respected in the music industry i hope people will be able to see how kind we are.

I'm a fairly new and proud 40-something ARMY. I just I wish I had paid attention to BTS sooner because their music is fantastic, they stood for the same things I do, we share values, and Namjoon, Yoongi and I face the same kind of struggles. They provide hope and companionship. You never walk alone is a true statement when it comes to them. 💜

Thank you for the video. It was just wonderful, so informative. This just solidified how I feel about BTS and ARMY. I’m new to “official” ARMY and just came back from my first two concerts in Vegas (one live play and the second on stage.) I met so many wonderful people, friendly, kind and generous. I heard from Uber drivers about the fandom…one woman from Belgium bought four tickets, one for herself and three to give away to anyone who wanted them without charge; another bought a bunch of BTS souvenirs to take home to other ARMY who couldn’t make it and he wasn’t planning to accept any money. Who else’s fandom takes such good care of each other? We are very fortunate to be part of this community. 💜

When I became an ARMY last August 2019, your videos about BTS were my absolute favorite. It was full of substance and was very objective. You pointed out a lot of important things. As an older ARMY I can say that everything BTS stands for resonates with a vast majority of people. All these issues that young people go through, we have been through too, and a lot of the feelings that we develope during those times don't just magically disappear because we reached adulthood. BTS may have started by being advocates for youth, but they make music for everyone, and if their message is one that can inspire people to be happier and treat others better then that can only mean good things for the younger generations and the world as a whole. I'm very grateful to be alive in the time of BTS, and I am not ashamed to be outside of the initial target demographic.

I'm literally at tears. This is beautiful, and I'm glad I watched it. A lot of people think we're 'hormonal teenage girls screaming over some hot Korean guys' but NO. That's not it.. I listen to their music because it truly helps. I'm not good with words so I may not be the best at explaining, but they're really amazing human beings who really care for their fans. They want us to be happy in life and live it to the fullest. Their music helps people change for the better. It's not just like normal music because it's powerful, and states very important things that need to be said. They give so much for us and go through so much danger.. I fee like we need to keep up with what we are doing as ARMY and make sure they know that their efforts aren't going to waste, and that we'll help make the world a better place.
