I can't believe people are whining about it bring a CoD knock off. A. It's an arcade FPS. B. It's free to play. Just go and pay 100$ for cod and have fun why are you complaining.

Had lots of fun on the play test. Tried mw3/warzone out for the first time today. Xdefiant feels so much better. The graphics and art style pop much more than modern day cod. I was an XD hater initially but I think it will do very well.

Nothing looks even close to COD, its not just about the looks, its the movement and game mechanics what makes CoD a CoD, not just the nice graphics.

@@flipfilfip yes because I have played and owned every call of duty the last 16 years they are all exactly the same cookie cutter if you will. They are fun but it’s time for something new. I think if XDefiant adds snd, tdm, ffa and keeps with no ssbm or slide cancel it will be cod killer

@@JadedJoe-tk3vmCod has sbmm which means you’re most likely to put in lobbies with people in your skillset instead of it just being random. Cod is either sweaty or bot lobbies and if you are a good player you have to do things like vpn or play with low lvls to get easier lobbies. SBMM Off means lobbies will be alot more balanced for everyone and your K.D won’t matter so it’s mix of good and horrible players.

This brings back some nostalgia of call of duty 4 multiplayer for me, looks fast paced with no BS skidding and jetpacks. Can't wait to round up what's left of the boys and play this. I'm still only playing MCC and fallout whilst I use my spin bike in the workshop... I think this game is gonna be welcome in my life!

I heard that the devs are actually former CoD dev team members, so I'm not surprised that this is what the made. They made CoD but without all the annoying CoD stuff lol. Hopefully they don't get trolled by Activision with a Cease and Desist or some other IP claim.

As someone who’s diamond ranked in ranked mode and has thousands of hours in MW2 - MW3 , this looks and seems like it feels much better then MW3 and it’s free and I can’t wait to leave the overplayed MW3 COD franchise that kill the game after a year and see how this game is, no rigged matches and exploiters cheating.

@@Hainesi there exists games where cheaters will be banned max at the end of the same match, and in some cases even in the middle of the match, and everyone wins when the match gets terminated due to cheating. Games made by riot games like valorant. Speaking of which, why am i not playing valorant?

Looks great but I'm concerned about two things I can't ignore: It's Ubisoft, and second, probably need to install another game launcher in order to play it. Hopefully it'll be release on Steam.

I am one of the few players that always play PvP whenever I buy Call of Duty series. Barely touch the story mode. Yeah, yeah, I'm guilty. However, I stopped playing CoD for several years now. But XDefiant? Free-to-play? Out on May 21st? Okay, you have my attention. Let's see how it goes.

Agreed. COD has had such a monopoly on arcade FPS and they no longer put any effort into the games anymore. Modern Warfare 3 is the first ever COD game I haven’t bought (not counting Call of Duty 1-3) so I feel like they’re losing more and more fans. Honestly ever since leaving the franchise, I’ve been really getting into more milsim tactical FPS and really enjoying them. But you’re right, outside of COD there are no arcade shooters. Until now ;)
