Got about 38hrs in the game, got about......11mins in MW3 since the release of this. Haven't even touched warzone only to get the battle pass reactivated. Not even sure I'll be able to finish it this season.... just have 0 passion to touch cod at all

I’m so addicted to this game. I put down resurgence and I have about 30 hours in this game. The gameplay feels like it’s old school call of duty with a modern twist. I hope it keeps growing.

Loving it so far. No complaints. Just a suggestion for the future. Although I personally enjoy objective modes, maybe add TDM for those who would rather not play objectives so we don’t have people on our teams completely ignoring the obj. Also, a barebones mode without the abilities would be cool ( no fire bomb, incinerator, cloak, spider drone etc. ) Looking forward to the months ahead to see where they take it. Pleasant surprise from Ubisoft 👌

After around 20 matches I would say that it just feels pretty generic. With Overwatch, The Finals, Cod, Apex etc...all being out there already, it just doesn't stand out. The look and feel is alright, but the hit reg is all over the place, the weapon inventory seems low and hero shooter part of it feels like it needs more time to cook. It's got DNA from a bunch of games but it doesn't feel cohesive to me. As for no SBMM...I suppose that's better then CoD, but also I saw match after match of completely lobsided victories one way or another. The game is a solid start but needs good support to get off the ground. At least it's free to play.

Its not that sweaty, granted im not over lvl 25 yet so idk how it will be at higher levels, but its not sweaty. It is harder then CoD though, less aim assist and no SBMM. Its fun to me so id say try it, but if you dont like it at least its free hope you enjoy it

As someone who was a lifelong cod multiplayer fan, who switched to warzone strictly due to year after year of poor CoD multi player and lack of support for the modes, I am really enjoying Xdefiant. It reminds me a bit of og mw3. The movement feels a little clunky, there's a bit of a learning curve there. But it's not the same game/franchise, so can't expect it to be the same. I don't love the factions and abilities, but have found they don't drastically impact the game. It's similar to what was in BO4, but not as impactful. Overall the game has been really enjoyable, quality maps and gun balance. Nice to get my multiplayer fix. Some tweaks and issues needed to be fixed, but the game is in no worse state than the average CoD seasonal patch. I've found I've even been playing it more than Warzone, as a dedicated warzone player since day 1.

I’d love to see maybe some LTM Modes like No faction abilities 😭 they ruin my flow. Also I think kill streaks would work pretty well on these maps but I’m also fine without them for the most part, don’t always feel rewarded for kill streaks

Game is good and is actually fun to play, that says alot compared to its competitors. I feel like some of the abilities are more annoying then fun though, and the desync and hitreg is a mess sometimes but other than that a pretty fun game.

Mp only feels like part of a game now a days. You need a BR to really give it staying power. In COD I really only use mp to warm up or level up guns to prep for the real game Warzone.

Yes TTK is good you have to get more accurate and from distance burst your weapon not hold it down. The TTK being this long allows for actual gun fights and not who sees who 1st

I think the gunplay is bad. Ttk just a bit slow, bullet velocities likewise. Don't like hero shooters as a rule. Desync and hitreg is hit and miss but the matchmaking feels really great. It's nice not being punished every time I get a win.

Im all for headshots being incentized, but its crazy to be hitting center mass and then a player turns and its like you die instantly.. mine you it still takes at least 4 bullets to kill to the head. Jumpshotting in this game in particular is annoying. Especially since trk to anywhere besdes he head is a chore. Snipers. Need. Flinch.

@@edwardfell1016 but I'm worried they'll wait till S1. By then, people will have been warded off by things such as this. The hitreg thing may take time, all FPS are plagued with this at times. The flinchless snipers and horrible ttk to anywhere besides the head is still a glaring issue to fix asap.

@@charmelocool if you try yes but just playing no. You have to set your self up for Longshots n only certain pops n game modes do that for you. Plus the longer TTK it's harder get Longshots because of damage and people moving.

I like that it doesn't have sbmm but still not my favorite game. Everybody has their opinions, don't jump to conclusions. Some love or hate cod, apex, overwatch, etc. I personally know a few demons skill level (iri in cod & master apex) that said it just didnt scratch that itch. That's why there's different games. Just my opinion
