Really wish it had TDM and Search type modes. I’m sure they’ll come soon but besides Escort every mode is just position holding. Still having a lot of fun I’m just kinda burnt on the crackhead domination style gameplay. That’s all this is, which is great for what it’s trying to be.

I hope they nerf the bunny hopping because that is just so annoying. Not saying nerf jumping all around just make it to where after you make your first initial jump, you can’t do it as much or as high in rapid succession afterwards.

Just deactivate ads while jumping making jumping more of an evasive maneuver to escape fire and get to cover that might help lets just be thankful there's no cartwheels and tactical rolls while shooting turning every player into john wick essentially 😅

@@Steezealways I think you hit the main points. It is MP arcade shooter that is free and doesn't have SBMM. I have four kids and extended family and no one willing to pay for COD MP and they hate warzone because time to level weapons so we don't play together Everyone in group has been on xdefiant partying up so social aspect is back with arcade shooter. That fact it is arcade shooter that large groups can play together without SBMM and EOMM will keep it relevant, particularly if they figure out net code issues.

I just uninstalled the game. It's genuinely horrible, I haven't played a single lobby that isn't sweaty or where I die faster than I'm able to kill. I tried to give the game a chance but for my sanity I can't keep playing it.

A couple of hours after I posted this I installed the game again and had a better experience lol. I still have the same issues as everyone else. Clearly latency is the biggest problem next to disbanding lobbies, hit detection, bunny hopping, and generally every lobby being full of sweaty players.

My biggest issue is the melee. If I accidentally press it, the enemy could reload and still kill me. It takes SO long to get back to shooting. So I sent them a message that I would be ok if they turn it off on my account if need me.

The $40 founders pack seems to be the most worth it, you get $30 in Xcoins and the Battlepass comes with it so thats basically $40 right there then it comes with a decent P90 skin and 2 charcter skins, and 10 gun XP 20min tokens. The $70 has some more stuff in it but nothing too crazy just depends if you like the character skin and want all 4 factions during year 1 given to you on release instead of having to grind for them.

I love this game!!! It’s a breath of fresh air and I haven’t ran into a single cheater in a free to play game. Been playing cod since 2004 and this reminds me of the old school games as far as lobbies being a good mixture of players.

I'm definitely having a better time with it. I think I definitely needed to wait a few days to let the sweat lords* spread out a bit, I'm facing them way less often. And with the addition to the practice I could finally tune my settings in peace without feeling like I'm sacrificing a match to do it. The grind is certainly not as bad as I thought it'd be but still not ideal for attachments. You're basically running a gun and it's red dot for like 3-4 hours before you can actually do stuff with it. I'm sitting here with 4x EXP and my M4A1 went from LV1 to LV10 in 2 full hours of play. *Sweat lords = the people skipping past every objective to specifically spawn camp, jumping like mad and skidding their butt on the floor around every corner and pre aiming every single corner. I don't want to say all good players are sweats, cuz they're not, but there are so many players trying so hard to min-max the weapon levels in this game trying to get every advantage they could possibly think of. We don't need to bomb rush every game like it's our last day on Earth, we can chill out and relax.

I've played COD since 2007, but haven't played for 1.5 years. This is refreshingly good. Finally got time to try it out tonight. I was so frustrated in COD with SBMM making all my matches feel the same time and time again. I'll be playing quite a bit more of this.

I have a problem with the Faction Character challenge of getting 50 kills with the incinerator drone. The device does not bend down. If you are on a crate or second floor and the opposition is on the ground, the incinerator drone will not bend down in the direction you need to shoot it. You need to be on the same level as the person you plan to shoot. It is frustrating to the point where I think I will NOT do this base challenge.

*Played COD WW2 for 7 years straight when everyone else abandoned the game* it was a straightforward, simple & good fps. *A great Firing Range, Combat Records and NEW innovative Headquarters* if it had a simple Gun Smith it would've made the game even greater than it already is. @@WowDoodWuuut I agree, *BO2 & WW2 are the best CODs for me* . WW2 is basically BO2 but in a WW2 setting especially after the Overhaul update. The movement, mechanics and *overall system improved to give you that great BO2 MP experience the only COD to do that* The huge weapon variety is vicious and versatile. *The Austen my favorite Gun* in the Game and reminds me of the The Legendary Peacekeeper, I actually call it *Austen - The WW2 Peacekeeper*

I love this Nero an old wore out cod veteran sees this as useful information . I've been improving so far watching your videos on xedefiant keep 'em comin! shoot even going back to the older cods every now and then i get wrecked due to the lack of aim assist, which is actually a good thing. when you get your shots right it feel good to know you are better skilled when you start winning the gun fights. ive learned to kinda stay with my teammates to help them win gunfights if i go out there by myself i get melted lol .

I'm absolutely blown away by XDefiant... Now that I got used to the game, I'm having a blast! I don't see any bugs, glitches, packet bursts, etc... No SBMM bs... Nothing but pure fun, like CoD used to feel back in the day... I also gotta mention dev transparency and how much they're communicating with players... And this firing range is fantastic... All of that for a F2P game! I don't even wanna think about CoD anymore with this game out...

I have wanted COD to make it so I don't have to leave the firing range to change attachments forever. It seems so obvious to me for it to be a feature. I'm glad this game has so many options for their firing range.

Can you PLEASE make a video about the guns not resetting to original aim point so more people know about it? It's why the guns feel weird. Go into the range and you'll see it. When you shoot and don't control recoil, the gun goes back to the starting point. When you control recoil, the gun lands wherever the last shot was fired. It leads to it feeling like you're constantly having to microadjust your aim because your gun won't go back to where it was.

The game is great at its core. But hit registration definitely needs to be looked at. And obviously there are weapons better than others. Besides that it's solid.

Xdefiant is awesome. It’s simple, feels great and brings me back to old school COD vibe. Maps are gorgeous and play well. Love having so many epic battles over the B flag instead of everyone camping back for killstreaks.

iv done maybe 12 hrs on it so im still in the noob lobby but its very inconsistent , fire first die first and it seems to take nearly a full clip to get a kill but im getting insta killed. i used the mk20 and i thought its a 3 shot kill but it can vary between 1 shot and 5 shots (all hits and no misses) and i know that player health and the distance can affect things so im trying to judge the same distance and you can see the health bar so anyone with low health i ignore as they are generally a 1 shot , and its inconsistent.
