It wasn't just children it was a massacre women children men all massacred on the street they thought it was a villain attack and the police never caught them it was a dark day for the heroes as they felt responsible for not saving these people but they decided to step up a notch to make sure this would never happen again

I choose to retcon this ending! I think the gods would invite Deku to the realm of the gods. They’d actually have Poseidon in charge since he’s the next strongest out of the OGs. They’d have Deku join the ranks and let him know that Poseidon’s position as leader is only temporary until they can have a vote. He’s busy undoing all the tyrannical orders of Zeus. This especially includes the ban of gods visiting the earth realm, since Poseidon is actually a big fan of humanity. He explains that they didn’t make deku the leader because there’re two more candidates. He steps back and reveals KRATOS and PERCY JACKSON! Percy being a little aged up and beefed up from the books so he’s comparable to Deku and Kratos. They then set off to deal with some godly trials across earth, while each of them take turns dealing with movie villains as well as villains from Greek mythology that might’ve sided with Zeus. All to determine who’s the leader of the gods..

You should do the same thing but make it a son of Hades and give shadow i’m manipulation mostly he can go through teleport in other peoples shadows and make weapons out of them,fire manipulation and he can turn invisible with his father helmet and last have a sword that can transport anyone to Tavares or just kill them if he wants to transport someone we’re just in their life there but the stem or by a lethal slash
