@6:13 There weren't enough situations like this in the tournament for Signori, this is the sort of thing he often did in Serie A - accelerated past defenders and blasted a shot at goal - but unfortunately (for we Italian fans!) this one was saved. Italy played decently going forward in this game, but across the board their finishing was sub par, perhaps due to nerves.

This was a solid group out of serie A!!! I think maybe the only weak link?? It's missing a link like Pirlo creatively from in front of that back 4!! Like a Rykaard, because Albertini is not up to it. Somebody has to do the 50/50 play. I'd have fired Sacchi over the Baggio issues. 3- 5- 2 like Bilardo!! Give Baggio more Freedom with a partner....Conte, Dino Baggio n Albertini is a good 3 man machine....then you play with the wings a bit, start flying that way
