15:08 For anyone who doesn’t know the context to this scene and why the note pops up, I’ll explain. Nia says how Rex show d her she doesn’t need to hide her true self and confesses her love to Rex. Rex says “Nia, I love you too” and after a gasp from Nia, continues with “I love you, and all you guys” in a sense friendzoning our beloved cat girl. However, thanks to the New Game+ title screens where Rex, the two aegis girls, and Nia get to hold hands, and the ending of the third game showing a photo revealing that adult Rex had a child with all 3 girls, it is known that Rex really did love “all you guys.”

I am amazed at how you were able to manage to explain most of the core details without falling into the trap of explaining the "raison d'etre" for each character i.e. Jin wanting an answer, Almathus for revenge etc. As well as keeping it to your comedic story telling style. 23:25 from the perspective of character arcs this is the only satisfying way to end this story. Rex needed to learn that he couldn't do everything alone and sometimes he needs to let others handle things while pyra/mythras arc is about overcoming despair and learning to be ok with being alive so they need to survive the story.

That description of how to revive Rex was actually less weird than in the actual game, where all Pyra says is literally "now place your hand on my chest." Now there's only 1 more video to complete the trilogy, and it's a doozy! (Especially Future Redeemed, starring Rex, Rex's daughter, Rex's great-great-grandchildren, Rex's sibling-in-law, Rex's father-in-law's reincarnation, and Rex's father-in-law's reincarnation's son, with Rex's son-in-law also playing a major role.) I can't wait for it to come out in another 3 years!

Your video of the first game got me interested in the series and I liked the idea of the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 story ever since the Pythra dlc in Smash Bros, but never brought myself to buy the game or watch all the cutscenes on KZfaq. The second games story is so underrated. The first 4 chapters are off putting to alot of people because of the anime elements and confusing battle system, but around chapter 5 the games story starts to ramp up. The gameplay also gets better as you get more blades and understand the combat system better.

True, I'd say Chapters 2 and 4 are the biggest hurdles that tend to make players drop off if they're not fully invested yet. (And those just so happen to be the only times Tora has a major role in the plot, so go ahead and blame him.)

It doesn't fit anywhere. You could maybe stretch it and say it happen before Zanza activate the Conduit but even that's a stretch. It's pretty much it's own thing and at this point I think Nintendo is unable to make it work on Switch's inferior hardware (yes even compare to Wii U)

A lot of xenoblade x item are referenced to xenoblade 1. My theory was that Mira is a fusion of few planete new future redeemed post credit aionios and new worlds considering the old warth concept art. But I'm not so sure maybe it's just referenced. Not saying X is forgotten with all the references in just art names but maybe the plot will get heavy redcon to fit a bigger canon so x wii u would be no more canon.

man i first played xenoblade 1 after watching a bit of your xc1 video because i loved the idea of living on the bionis and mechonis and after that i played xenoblade 2 and i loved it and it is my favorite video game ever to this day. So happy to finally see you make a video of this game.
