I feel like this series is basically going to be the next fire emblem. Appear in smah, rise in popularity, keep appearing in smash while having games constantly come out every few years, etc. Though it won't rise to fame as fast as fire emblem sadly. Mostly because they can't pump out games unless more spin offs happen, I'm all for it if we get a xeno blade warriors.

Marc Jorge I think it's because in the base game, the area is unlocked after Chapter 3. So by that point you only have Rex, Nia and Tora in your party.

@@trig1582 in terms of design, i do believe they look better in definitive edition, but their character models have better textures and a higher polygon count in Xenoblade 2. this leads me to believe me that the game is more of a remaster than a full on remake.

CoolDudeCobermai I agree,he could have had alvis as a blade,and there could have been a side quest where it reveals that alvis is actually the third aegis,ontos,and it could have been a nice family reunion between pyra/mythra and alvis. Another thing they could have done is added zanza,and they could have made him look like klaus before he became a god,when he was a scientist,so there aren’t any spoilers to how he looks like in the actual game,and it would make more sense,since klaus wanted to help people,which is why he would help Shulk,and it could be sweet to see pyra/mythra fighting alongside there father,there could also be a side quest with that as well

Late comment, but XC1's universe is basically composed entirely out of ether while XC2's world is very similar to our own world to say the least. Shulk and Fiora's biology probably has more in common with Blades who rely on ether to do basic tasks like breathe and walk properly.
