Xenoblade Chronicles 3 looked for all intents and purposes to be a fusion of the best parts of Xenoblade Chronicles 1 & 2, and in many ways, it was! What I came away from the game thinking about, however, was the way it made me appreciate the incredibly flawed existence we all live in right now. Join me for a NOT absurdly long plunge into why the game made me feel that way!
(Spoilers for Xenoblade 1, 2, and 3, by the way!)

Man this game means so much to me. Its my favorite game of all time and idk how they gonna top this. Also snuff the Z haters. I get that he isnt a Malos level final boss but thats kinda the point and i think the conzept of him is Genius in this kind of story. It makes sense why he is so "Boring and lacks character" because thats what he is. Stuck in the now, never develop and does everything to stagnate the world. You dont have to know more about him because he isnt a character, he is a conzept.

From my perspective, moebius are like the type of people who like seeing drama unfold that have nothing to do with them. They thrive off the chaos to make up for their own unexciting lives.

You know, when talking about the purpose and importance of life the conversation can get very controversial really quick depending on how someone may feel about intrinsic value. Some people get this from family, some from religion, some from science but easily this topic can get so controversial really quickly. Nevertheless I am still amazed how Xenoblade is able to show the message of the importance of life without any of these issues.

XBC3 has a powerful message and an amazing cast and story. I'm still amazed by how much detail and feeling went into this game. The soundtrack is powerful and moving, used to great effect. The story and characters are fantastic and I love spending time with the crew. This game is astonishing, worthy to be part of an amazing trilogy of games.

I love people who express their love to Xenoblade Chronicles and wish I had the courage and mental capacity to put into words how amazing this series is

It’s exactly the themes and how everything revolves around it which makes me love this game over xenoblade 2’s narrative. Although I have my little complaints I just found this entry more engaging, and I adored pretty much every moment of it. All are amazing games though and every entry in the series is incredible.

I think it’s worth noting the implication of the ending that Noah and Mio are still going to meet again.

This video and game were both something spectacular. While XC3 did unfortunately not fully live up to my expectations, I still heavily enjoyed it, and this video helped me realize why. Thank you Tronk for letting me understand. I can’t wait for your video about the full game and DLC when it releases.

Man there is a part of the video that actually made me really emotional About the theme of hope I really like how It can ser on literally all the sidequest, you can make every colony life much better With a bit of effort, you can make people that would be killing each other help each other sharing resources. Little by little making aonions and actually fond place to Remember instead of just an hostile world. Well in any case the video did not disapoint great job!

It's always funny how every time a Xenoblade game comes into my life, it's usually when I've been at a low point but the messages and themes of the series always resonate with me on a level that inspires me to appreciate life and continue pursuing my purpose. It seems that every time I finish each of these stories it gives me a different epiphany. Loving these videos, keep it up :)

What an amazing video, especially around 8:20-10:51 mark as it resonated with me the most, I have this feeling quite a lot when making videos. Even though, in the back of my head, I feel that I've wasted my time making something, but then I'm reminded about the comments people have put on my videos. Those comments are the reason that keeps me going. If the ones who inspire me to do what I do can do it, then whats stopping me? It's a tough thing to cope with, and it's something I struggle with that. Sorry for the massive block of text 😂 that part of the video really hit hard.

I can't wait for the full Deep Dive Video. While emotionally chapter 5/6 and the Ending were as close to perfect as it gets, I still miss some answers I feel other Xeno games would've given us. Also can we talk about Rexs line "I love you too. You, and all you guys" and how he really got Nia, Pyra and Mythra pregnant?
@Tronk_
@Tronk_ Жыл бұрын
I would like more answers from the game too, I HOPE the DLC will give them to us, but I do also feel that neither of the other games felt as though they had much left to ponder after the base games in terms of the world-building. People like to meme on the XC2 pic, but I genuinely was so happy for all of those guys that they stayed a big happy family.

@@Tronk_ honestly the picture at the end made me really happy for nia. She went from a life as a criminal to now being effectively queen of her world, having married the man of her dreams, and depending on what the dlc says she also married the actual demigod sword ladies and started a family with all of them. Let's say it how it is, nia WON at life.

i feel like chapter 7 was gonna give alot of exposition into those things, but was cut to put in the dlc and the devs didnt have enough time to add much else. still, i find it fun to theorise before the dlc comes out tho

it's so easy to get caught up in your thoughts when thinking about life and if your choices are worth it. but it's important to make those choices and live our lives, 'cause it's amazing we're even here in the first place. we have this time so we'll use it to fullest. gonna be spoilers, i'd assume anyone watching this has either beaten it or doesn't care, but just in case y'know as i was playing through xc3 the story didn't really resonate with me that much. i enjoyed it, sure, and i loved the characters. there were definitely moments that hit me hard, especially things like the prison scene, touches like mio and m's lines differing when she says "you just have to take her/my life", and especially the entirety of the execution and noah's introspections of his past selves and their memories, and certainly don't get me started on the final few scenes before the credits. the overarching themes of using the time you have was good. but i felt, especially with z, that some of the story was lacking. and while the mech scenes were fantastic, seeing alcamoth becoming a mech is just a peak "they did not just do that, that's so cool" moment for me, and being able to see them flying around in the background of the final fight, i felt that z's final form being a big floaty head was a bit silly. not to mention as i played through the game on hard, having to look at that big ol' head for a while made it almost comedic. but now that i've had some time to really mull it over, it's started to resonate with me a lot more. i won't write out my whole life story, despite this essay i'm making in the youtube comment section lol, but i've got depression and anxiety and a whole host of other things, and i tend to look at media through that lense for my interpretations. and thinking about 3's story after the fact really made things click. living your life as yourself, even if things may be uncertain or you may not have all that much time, whether that be a certainty or just being unsure what tomorrow may bring. taion's line always stuck with me, dreading the thought of whether or not the faces you know will be with you tomorrow, or even you yourself. sena, wondering if she's true to herself, and seeing herself in the one's she trusts, or thought she trusted. and we both need to apologize less haha. and most of all i started to appreciate z a lot more. desperately grasping for control. afraid of change, hating the world and it's unfairness. wanting to keep things comfortable and familiar, lashing out at any semblance of change. and while this may not be the intention, viewing it through the lenses of my experiences even made me appreciate the funny head boss lol. it's a manifestation of all the fears and regrets and what ifs. seeing it moroh into the faces of each party member in turn as they rise against those feelings. but i also view it as a representation of being stuck in your head. of the thoughts and feelings dragging you down and taking control. the need for comfort, and the warped twisted thoughts that substitute that comfort, making you seek out familiarity and keeping you stuck. but in the face (pun not intended, i assure you) of all this, you have to stay strong. you have to understand that, yes these things are scary. yes, change is frightening, and there may not always be someone or something immediately there to comfort you. you may make a mistake or a wrong choice, you may feel defeated or cry or scream. but you can keep going. it's just a setback, take your time, and oick yourself back up. do what you can to make this your life. live as best you can. do what brings you joy, and fulfillment if you've found that. and keep searching if you haven't. stick close to those you love and who love you, whether you know them yet or not. and in noah's words "face forwards towards youe chosen horizon, and just. walk on." sorry for just rambling on, and i dunno if any of it makes sense haha. i could probably say a lot more about this game and maybe i will sometime. but thanks to anyone who read through this, and i hope you have a wonderful day. you're alive, and that's incredible. you're incredible, even if you may not feel that way in the moment. so just keep being you and keep living ^^

A favorite bit for me is that Noah can’t even fault N for the choice that he was driven to make. The only thing that separates them there is that Noah had the fortune of hindsight in seeing N to realize that making that choice would lead him down a dark path.

I personally have a decent idea of what I want my future to be. There's just one small problem: that future looks to be hundreds of years away and involves transforming most of the entire world. That's... a tad longer than I would be expected to live, unless I were Moebius of course. Though Moebius usually hold the world back, where as I want the exact opposite: hold _myself_ back to allow the world to change around me. If you say to think smaller, then I may have to give up my dreams of becoming a cyborg and living in a techno-utopia. Absurdly distant dreams aside, I feel the need to mention that my sister was also playing the game, and while she hasn't played much since it was released, I won't be satisfied until she sees that scene in the City in chapter 5. Why? Well... ironically, it is exactly because of what, or rather who, has been taking up all her time since shortly after launch. P.S. I can confirm that catgirls are an easy cheat code to the top of a character list. The only thing that can match one for me is a nyanbinary. Like... my 3 or 4 favourite characters in this game are all cats.

Just a side note In so happy that Harry M. played through the game on stream too, that even the voice actor of the game could enjoy the game as much as we all did. Yes it's not a perfect game, but like I said in the comment of your other video, all of these games have a message to teach someone, and we all deserve to experience this lesson masterfully orchestrated by these games. No matter who you are I swear the Xenoblade stories will move you like no other.. Also on a more critical review, the side quests are absolutely the best in the series, the music is still great but not the overall best, the combat is the most controllable but also like you said I prefer Xenoblade Chronicles 2 combat due to the complexity. And sure some of the moebius feel like jokes or fodder.. but you cannot say this is a bad game.. this game is a masterpiece and I loved every second of my 100%, every bit of dialogue, no more generic responses, all characters always growing with each passing quest, I don't even care at this point if the DLC is sub par to my mountain high expectations cause the base game alone has blown me away more than I ever could've expected. Xenoblade Chronicles 1-3 is the best trilogy ever released imo and I absolutely love all of these games. Thank you for the videos, thank you for giving these games a chance in the first place, and I hope more people will give these games a shot from your messages. Truly a phenomenal series.
