In short; this is an amazing tool for off-ice training. It slides well on tiles and smooth surfaces, but not so much on rough surfaces such as an outside court or the road. I don't recommend it for a casual pick up game as it is really heavy and can seriously injure someone. But for training on smooth surfaces, I highly recommend.

could run the sides of the puck on cement or use sandpaper to get the side of the puck some roughness for better grip or use black hockey tape on the side for grip to will also work too

For sure, definitely the hockey tape will give it a nice feel. Product would be overall better if it came with grip already but all valid solutions!

Could you maybe put stick tape around the puck for grip on the side and reevaluate?

Hey man, won’t be able to edit vid till next week, but I tried it and it does add grip! Still not as much as a regular ice hockey puck tho.
