Naxos is a masterpiece. One of my all time favorites.

Well I have 10 fragrances from Xerjoff and I think this brand is one of the very best niche perfumes on the market. I do not have currently Naxos but I think it smells very good. I have, bouquet ideal, Gran Ballo, Lira, Golden Dallha, Commandante, Ivory route, Amber star, Star Musk, ouverture, Synghonium. Love, love love Xerjoff perfums

Interesting. I tried both and couldn’t stand the Mugler one. Fell in love with Naxos. Can’t wait to buy a bottle. Found it to be the smoothest, creamiest, most heavenly creation. Extremely well blended. For me it’s is soft and feminine.

Totally disagree with your review of Naxos. I’ve had both fragrances and the quality of Naxos towers over Pure Havane. Naxos is not complex? Totally disagree there. Naxos is much smoother as well. To steer someone away from Naxos towards Pure Havane is one of the craziest things I’ve heard in a while.

Naxos is my favorite fragrance of all time and it blows Pure Havane out of the water.

You are totally right about this one. I even sold half of my sample, because I prefer Mancera Red Tobacco, Phaedon Tabac Rouge, Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille, Initio Side Effect and even Dolce & Gabbana The One For Men EDP. Yes it has great quality, but just like Pure Havane, it doesn’t captivate me emotionally. I do love many Xerjoffs: Casamorati 1888, 40 Knots, Nio, Kind Of Blue and XJ 1861 Renaissance.

Great review. I am relatively new to the Xerjoff fan club BUT I fell hard and fast! I have Nio, Renaissance, 40 Knots, 1888, Alexandria II AND Naxos. I love them all BUT I could wear Naxos EVERYDAY if I allowed myself to do so. I haven’t smelled the Mugler twin (pure Havan) and don’t much care to do so. The quality of Naxos is just so good...regardless of price... signature Xerjoff. 😊 Funny thing though, I don’t consider Naxos a tobacco forward scent. I get more of the honey and florals on my skin.

I've become a big fan of Xerjoff generally, and Naxos specifically.. It's intoxicating, as are a number of Xerjoff fragrances. I'm also a big fan of Mamluk, and Ivory Route, but I wouldn't blind-buy either one. If you're interested in sampling this masterful House, order a sample set. I think Naxos is one of the best perfumes I've ever smelled. On me it smells divine.... I don't think that Mugler can beat this finesse of Naxos! This Levander note with the honey almost mint honey and the character oh my god. Can't help this...sorry.

Love naxos but 40 knots im obsessed with

I think there are more interesting fragrances from Xerjoff in my own opinion and my personal favourite is Alexandra II ( I have seen your video on this in which you absolutely smashed it 🤜🏻). Great video! Even though I love Naxos....I do think it’s overpriced and found Alexandria Fragrances 1981 X just as good, for 1/4 of the price! 😬

I’ve also made the mistake of following the hype by experiencing and purchasing Naxos before discovering Pure Havane. I agree, the quality difference ain’t worth it. When I’m paying niche prices, creativity and originality are very important too.

It's intriguing how you smell naxos coz it's totally different on my nose. Naxos to me is honey based heavy with a touch of tobacco and those citruses and pure havanne is tobacco heavy with a touch of honey. Naxos is more elegant and very refined and elegant in my opinion. Pure havanne is nice but very sweet and more juvenile or for younger crowd. Naxos to me is unisex and can be worn year round even in the Summer due to that beautiful opening cutruses as long as it's 2 max sprays coz it is very long lasting and projects quite well on my skin with 2 sprays. I loooove naxos, just a masterpiece and very sexy scent.

Amongst the 1861 fragrances my personal favourite is Zefiro. I find the mint in Renaissance to be gooey and too syrupy. Not fresh at all. It's almost nauseating after a while. I liked Naxos but it was too cloying. Some fragrances make me sweat. It should always be ten below zero outside to actually pull them off. Zefiro is definitely wintery but I like it too much to care. White wine, woods, incense. Sounds like an Iggy Pop song in an empty church... Great video! And take care!

Just started watching your channel and I've enjoyed your videos. I respect your opinion, but when I smell Mugler I get cheap synthetic vibes that pierce the nose. I'm used to very high quality all natural attars so when I smell something cheap it gives me a headache and hurts my nose lol. Naxos to me smells totally different throughout, one of the reasons being due to the overall quality. I would even go as far to say that Alexandria 2 gives off more of a designer homme type feel than naxos. Not to say that I don't love Alexandria 2 but it's one of those very likeable type scents as well for new to niche individuals.

I don't find them to be similar at all. Naxos is more sharp, lavander is really strong on my skin, it has really sharp and zesty lime or citruses in there so it is just more fresh all the time. Would never buy Havane, but I have Naxos and we both enjoy it very much. It is worth the hype, yes.

I call it "Noxious"...for some reason i don't like the mix of tobacco and lavendar/fougere. My two cents :-) It's not that it's a bad fragrance per se, but i guess i like my tobacco fragrances on the cozier, less aromatic side. I haven't tried a lot of Xerjoff, but I have Lira, and really love More Than Words, Cruz del Sur II and Richwood.

You have a great look. On that note I just ordered Naxos off a frag facebook group for $169, hopefully I like it, your video made me a little nervous now lol.

I think the closest 'inspiration' Naxos got from is Lanvin Avant Garde, but I'd have to try them side by side, great review btw Sam!

I love Naxos sorry but of course Xerjoff More than words is just fantastic/ masterpiece , you are right there is more jaw dropping Xerjoff scents out there more pricier Fars which you have . The KEMI line i feel people lean more towards Pure Havane because its been out more than Naxos in years i mean . Of course a bump up from Xerjoff is Bornikoff if you are looking for the finest / rarity obscure oud and money is no object im not quite there yet but i did get a decant of Oud monarch . Curious other offerings from this line its getting a lot of buzz and im in a phase where i want to explore maybe challenging scents( Initio )pushing my nose and im on a refined citrus kick but no Clinique Happy lol furthermore loved your make up look and video

No I do not agree with you. Naxos is a beautiful scent and classy scent that a powerful woman can pull off.

This is exactly the kind of information I wanted when I started looking at Naxos. Because of COVID, I can't go to the shops to sample perfumes, but I also can't rely on reviews on websites because those people likely sought out the perfume because they like it. I just want an intelligent, sophisticated, knowledgeable lady to tell me what's going on in that scent.

I can not wear pure havane. Its too much patchouli for me. But naxos its just wow. I love naxos. I got few compliments, where usually people do not tend to do so. Everybody is different.

I really like this one. Have a decant. Alexandria fragrances has a similar one but toned down a bit. Its actually beautiful as well. Same staying power. Update: I bought full bottle. Pure Havane is def not on same page. I could not pull off. Too masculine on me. Love Naxos

Naxos & PH are night & day... Naxos is luxury in a bottle whereas PH is like soaking yourself in wet food stamps...

Finally got this in today, love the scent actually, super smooth blend with good sillage. Smells masculine to me, I do not think I would want to smell this on a woman. I can see how this is a safe bet, interested now in more of their line. Which is your favorite Xerjoff fragrance for men??

Firstly you are SO breathtaking. Oh my word. I got a sample of axis and I swear it smells identical to mugler angel on me. I can’t wait to shower it off 😂. It makes sense, I’m a Lira / Italica girl! I feel like people who like scents like this though would love it because it’s definitely a more well constructed version of angel!

I agree. It's too similar to Pure Havane. Maybe it's a bit better, smoother than Pure Havane, but $100-$150 better? No. I'm not a big fan of either. They smell like cherry cough syrup.

I think that fragrances are subjective and I like to think of myself as a fragrance enthusiast but I tend to disagree with you. Niche fragrances with designer dna is best of both worlds: high quality ingredients from niche and the not so challenging dna from designer

I ve had Alexandria II, Richwood, Symphonium, but i always come back to Naxos. The others are amazing of course but they are not as manly as Naxos, they are too sweet.

I don't know about Nexos BUT I've had and tried a few of the A*Men pluseven a A*lien and find that they all have the same dry down DNA which I didn't like at all. I would guess Naxos has a dry down I would like much better and would be willing to pay more for.

I've sampled some of the Mugler line, including this one and I'm baffled as to their popularity, and as a grown man, I try to imagine which demographic those ridiculous plastic bottles are destined for. Also very curious as to why PH is compared to Naxos by so many other KZfaq reviewers- Mugler surely can't have that much influence. They share a few notes and there is the scent of tobacco with varying degrees of quality, but anyone who appreciates the subtleties, artistry and quality of perfume, there are key differences, otherwise why not lump all tobacco scents or all perfumes together and call it a day?

Really enjoyed your review, but I disagree. I own 5 Xerjoff’s and Naxos is my favourite. Xerjoff can be a risky wear, but this one is safe while still being complex enough

I love Naxos because of the honey. I tried a decant of 1861Zefiro and Mamluk but I think your body chemistry has to very different from mine because Mamluk smells like nyc project elevators (urine) on me 🥴I was so grossed out. Zefiro smells ok, reminds me of an older man like my college professor. Tfs
