She was never given an easy song, she just knew how to carry the task being given and did at her best... The rest just stayed within the genre that is comfortable for them from the beginning. Even if one tries to do the replay of their performances one would really see the difference as it is definitely obvious. The locals here are just too envious and bitter to admit it. Good luck to them.

@@claireobeja8094 As I review the performance, she was struggling because the song has a very low pitch; the reason why she couldnt manifest the finest and the prowess of her voice..Even if she attempted several times pushing her voice, it was not possible to show up its real voice. They gave her d parameter that limits her voice. Working beyond that parameter, Mariel would be out of tune; the reason why the are few sharps. Anyway, her voice is unbeattable. They can only beat her that way by giving her the arrangement which is not fit to her voice.

@spekter_717, May I ask if you READ the rules of XFactor before airing out your statement? For sure, you did not. It is an International Show which caters talents so anyone can join. The locals here just contextualized it. Btw, Jessie J who is already a famous artist even joined a Singing Competition in China and won...take note that China is a Communist country and it has got all reasons to shooo Jessie J off the show but she won and Malta is democratic but your actions and words are not. If I were you, you tell the Judges to make some specifics on the rules of XFactor Malta Show, atleast no foreign talents will ever join in the show----it is that simple!

@@claireobeja8094 Please carefully read my earlier and current statements, since I never claimed she couldn't compete and prevail. Just curious as to what set you off. Was it the bit where I exclaimed, "What did she think? She was going to come to Malta, compete against her inexperienced little babies by playing some fools on their emotions,? Or my standpoint regarding guardianship? All the best to you and your partner/husband and may your lives be filled with the warm comforts and convience of life.

@@Spekter_7T7 ,I read your comment and understood its connotation quite well. Any one who joins such show has got what it takes to qualify....calling them "babies" is an understatement. If they are just babies/greenhorns, they wouldnt have passed the live shows and reached the finals. Would you call those babies when they could even compose their own songs and make it their own rendition? Some of those here even commented that ONLY Sean and Mamaclay did not step up so they needed to be eliminated. Uwejja! Btw, to be able to support the local talents here, XFactor Malta Show should atleast have stated that audition is just exclusive for local talents so controversy regarding this unjust elimination would have been avoided nor repeated the next time around. Anyway, I Do thank you for your reply and wish you the same thing.

Have you watched how the other contenders performed? If you do, you will see the difference and might have changed your flawed comment about her.

@@tosh_kiba andaming mas talented na mga artists sa Pinas na hindi nabigyan ng break dahil sa kamangmangan ng mga televoters. Sila Mori, Charice, Regine atbp ay nakilala lang at naappreciate ang talent nila dahil sa mga banyagang vloggers at social media.

Before that, she only made few apperances on TV but that was not enough to earn her and her family a living. I saw Charice mom's interview on TV about those struggling times. Mori has already been singing and competting locally before she joined The Voice Philippines. She was soon honed by ABS CBN as one of its artists in the weekly show but, she was given even bigger break through social media until she caught David Foster's attention. Ang nananalo diyan sa Pinas ay yong may talent na mahirap na sa paningin ng madlang people ay underdog pero in terms of popularity and number of offers abroad mas lamang pa yong mga hindi nanalo.

Walang siyang offkeys and flats kung tama yong tenga mo sa tunes and pitches.

i didn't hear struggles or anything wrong with her singing...she sang it perfectly.. just sad to let go of such an amazing singer!! i still love her though!

I think she sang it perfectly, i don't hear miss pitch, i think this kind song so perfectly for her voice, cause her voice is very big, her vocal range is Wide to, n so powerfull😊
