Gonna be a Seahawk next year. EDIT: going to be a lot of these guys getting tryouts in the NFL. That is what these soon to be Two Football leagues are for. Kind of like the Independent Leagues in minor league baseball.

I'm enjoying watching the XFL and there's some pretty good talent out there on the field. It does seem like there are quite a few missed tackles though. The Battlehawks had several today. Still, it is entertaining to watch.

Dinucci will throw 5 picks in a game, but will fight hard as hell to make up for it again. Actually entertaining watching someone like that. Makes mistakes then randomly trucks a defender.

Helluva showing by the Sea Dragons! Defense was locked down tight. The offense seems to really be gelling right now with good execution and understanding of Coach June Jones's schemes. Can't wait to go to Sunday's game in the Dragon's Lair!

Too bad that incredible TD run got called back on a penalty. What a complete drubbing of the Battlehawks. Did *not* see that coming! Also, it wouldn't be a Sea Dragons game w/o the usual DiNucci INT in the endzone. If he could tighten up the endzone INTs a bit, he might get a call from the NFL again.

Best part of the whole game for a Battlehawks fan was when the scoreboard operator had a hilariously rough stretch when the game was still 8-3. At one point we were up by 100 points!

Not ready to play in the biggest game of the season falls on the coaching staff. O-line couldn't hold up and the defense forgot how to tackle. Also McCarron looked rusty and slow. I was having flashbacks of the horrible Rams years at the dome. I really miss the GSOT days. Mike Martz was even at the game today.

It's astounding how the announcers don't even know the different scenarios for getting in the playoffs. The Battlehawks shot themselves in the foot with this game, not only because they lost, but because they lost by such a large margin. What a disappointment.

@@marticatnip1866 it goes to the 4th tiebreaker which is point differential on the season. i believe Seattle is +47 on the season while STL is +22. obviously, this is only if SEA and STL end w the same result (most likely outcome since Vegas and Orlando suck). not sure what was up w the broadcast saying that STL was win and in when that was not the case

Man what constitutes as a hold in xfl? I’ve seen maybe 3 flags thrown for all teams and it seems they have been headlocks and defenders jerseys being pulled all the way to the ground

"From the XFL site, these are the tiebreakers in the XFL: Explanation of tiebreaking scenario if both the Sea Dragons and the Battlehawks win in Week 10. 1 - Head-to-head 2 - Best win/loss percentage in division games 3 - Strength of victory in all games - combined record of opponents in wins 4 - Best combined ranking among division teams in points scored and points allowed in all games 5 - Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed in all games 6 - Best net points in all games 7 - Best net touchdowns in all games 8 - Coin toss Since the teams split their head-to-head games, would both have a division record of 3-3 in the event of wins in week 10, and beat the same set of teams, the tiebreaker goes to scenario 4, "Best combined ranking among division teams in points scored and points allowed in all games". I haven't gone through the calculations for exact rankings across the league, but currently the Sea Dragons have a better ranking for both points scored and points allowed on the season. Sea Dragons points scored: 215 Sea Dragons points allowed: 168 Battlehawks points scored: 196 Battlehawks points allowed: 174 Don't be surprised to see these teams both trying to run up the score in their final games of the season."

STL would be fortunate to get past tiebreaker 4, with tiebreaker 5 near-certainy spelling doom, with same holding true for tiebreaker 6. These are all a factor of point differential and SEA has a 25 point edge their.

Last but not least, Seattle will know exactly what they need to do re: margin of victory coming into the game with STL playing Sat and SEA playing Sun.

The problem for St Louis is that tie breaker 4 is DIVISION difference and they are not playing a division game so they can't close the gap. The only way St Louis gets in is if Seattle loses and their game against the Guardians doesn't matter if they win or lose.

Interestingly, I think the points scored and points allowed used in the ranking are for all games. It’s just that the ranking in number 4 is among division teams only. XFL went with a fairly complex tiebreaker system.

Actually the games are good in the USFL. 2nd season you can see the talent is better than last year. Less mistakes and the games are close. I like both leagues.

The fact that one of these teams won't be in playoffs is criminal. The south division is garbage. Battlehawks were off in this one but both of these teams are #1 in the south if they switched over. They should do a ranking system for playoffs and #1 should play #4 and #2 should play #3, regardless of division.
