It's being able to tell your story with the choreography, and bring through the feeling, and be a unit and be able to perform it clean, with passion, and have it be unique. XG does all that. And the only other group I can think of that does that is BTS from the 3rd generation K-Pop. J-Hope, the dance leader and a main dancer, said in 'Born Singer' that after 3 years they became one. And it's true, they move like one, and XG has that. They really work hard and deliver amazingly clean performances, with passion, and it's always unique. XG is amazing. I love them. I can love my BTS and also love XG. They are both amazing.

I find with XG it’s not just dance it’s Art, beyond the typical dance choreography it’s more like a Smithsonian worthy art exhibit

YESSSSS! Definitely their love of 90s R&B and hip-hop shows in their own music and performance... that's a big part of it for sure!!! lol Also, editing those dance practices, I realized I was singing over them through the whole video 🙈 I just love all these songs so much! lol

I gotta say Simon had these girls trained as sisters, despite it being competitive. For example Hikaru still chills with them on a continuous basis when they see each other. The simple fact that they connected on that level makes the feeling of a group different. But also they bring a certain flavor that is new simply because Hip&Hop, R&B, English speaking Idol groups dont exist besides XG(at least i dont know of any). They are truly unique. I love them so much for that 🐺👽❤️ Oh theyre also quite passionate performers.

Yes!!! I think I said that a few times already in my XTRA XTRA reactions! You can see how much he's fostering a really strong emotional bond between them, which totally shows in how they work together and perform as one unit. It's incredible! 💚

I can definitely see XG as a competitive dance crew!!! I'm such a huge dance girlie; I love everything about it, almost all my kpop biases are main dancers, and I'm obsessed with dance comp shows. To me what makes competitive dance stand out over great choreo from kpop groups is that dance crews have synergy between each member and they pour all of their energy and emotion on the dance floor on top of their technical skills and training. Competitive dance is truly a different beast and requires the members in those crews to show raw, vulnerable, and harder sides to them.

YES. I think dancers and people familiar with dance crews understand what I mean here. They have synergy, they move as ONE unit, they convey so much energy and style and emotion. And the level of dance is so high! It really is on the level of great dance crews, which is why it's so impressive that they're ALSO incredible singers and rappers. Like... WHAT THE...?! 🤯

The only way I can describe the way they move is the word organic. Their moves are powerful but not sharp. The choreography seems alive and the crew looks like one single organism.

YESSSS. Okay, yes. It's so natural, everything looks perfectly clean and synchronized... but it isn't forced or too sharp. It really does feel organic! Like a part of nature, all working perfectly together. I love this analogy! 💚

Davichi (kpop female duo) sad promise music video reaction plz!!!!! 🙏 They caught criminals, but became criminals by killing people.road scene is police in front of them and they don't have a choice. Last scene is maybe heaven (they death) or be a rich (earn money from caught criminals and eat steak)

Im gonna be completely honest, i didnt mess with the later part of the song until this performance, it fits better being performed. Song is dope though and Chiquita slayin us. I like Ruka as well 😁.

xg is now the standard for what a k, j or whatever pop group should be bringing. Other groups look lacking when comparde to them

It's true - they are really raising the bar across industries! I don't think I'd say other groups are lacking, because they bring different styles and energies. But, in terms of the vibe XG has... the standard is definitely being raised.
