Little correction. They are under Avex (financially), but management is XGALX (Korean based company with international stuff). Simon ❤. It's the same like LeSserafim. Financially under Hybe, but management is Source Music.

xg is not kpop, they are a GLOBAL GROUP, like any Western group is, they are literally being boycotted by koreans since Shooting Star because they say japanese people who only sing in english and do not behave like korean idols like any korean group does should not be able to have hits using the ''kpop'' formula (the inspirations, not the same boring way of creating a song every group does which WE ALL KNOW IS *intro + verse + build up + chorus + verse and then repeat until bridge and ending, not including the same concept every damn song most of the groups do) and yet not be labeled as kpop. I do like some kpop groups like le seraphim, new jeans, kof, but lets be honest, few of the groups or songs are original, most are boring aesthetics EVERYONE in the industry is doing, its like ''JUST DO WHAT'S TRENDING'', if you know what I mean, like the ''cute concepts'' from last year and the ''souless'' concerts sometimes I see from big groups, feels like some of these 15yo debuting are just being explored by greedy billionaires... like you know most girls there are just doing what their company tells them to do, thats why every day there is a new scandal... I love kpop, aespa and NJ are in my heart, but XG is just a different breed, I can watch their dancing and listen to their songs a thousant times and I still love it, the majority of the songs from the last few years in KPOP are just consumerism, you listen a hundread times for 2 weeks and then forget about it because another group did a better one thats going to die in some weeks because its not ''cool'' to be ''consuming'' old works, korean people on TikTok were having mental breakdowns on KOF because they were not following the same steps as most of the industry, I remmeber most of the kpop community were calling them ''group of grannies'' ( lol they are 20) , b words for their sensual concepts, way too tanned to be beautiful, and so on, and now they be getting some HITS and I see some people getting really upset. XG is a 7 member group formed by XGALX who parent company is Avex. The members ages range from 18-22. All members are Japanese with 2 members being mixed one is Japanese Australian and the other Japanese Korean. XG'S songs in release order and all official group releases are in English. 1. Tippy Toes (debut song) 2. Mascara 3. Shooting Star 4. Left Right (First Japanese group and Japanese female artists to make the US Mediabase radio top 40 charts. 5. GRL GVNG (MV is short so dance practice or ASL version full song) 6. TGIF 7. New dance (has 2 MVs official and Multiverse version) 8. Puppet Show 9. Winter Without You (The First Take version is a must they sound even better live. 10. Undefeated (collaboration with the video game Valorant: animated MV on Valorant channel but I would go with the Preformance video on XG'S channel) 11. Woke Up 12. Something ain't Right They also have series to showcase their dance, vocals and rap. The vocal series and rap showcases can be in Japanese Korean or English or a mixture of all 3 Move 1-5 is for dance Vox 1-6 is vocals which are covers or remixes of existing songs Tapes 1,2,3a,3b and 4. Tape 4 has 5 videos 4 individual ones and a group one. These are original lyrics over existing beats. The youngest member Cocona who was 16 at the time went viral for her part on Tape 2. Besides the official songs and Move, Vox and Tape series theres 2 other music to check out. The Preformance video for their 2 intros for their first mini album Hesonoo and X-Gene. The 2 youngest members also did a song for the show Street Woman Fighter 2 called Show you can. Few other things on their channel once you get to know them more. Check out them performing Mascara live at their New DNA Showcase in Japan 2023. Fun fact, the man who train XG for about 5 years straight before they debut in 2022 is Simon Jakops. He has a cameo appearance at the beginning of their Woke Up music video. He was also at their New DNA Showcase watching them perform while sitting among crowd. THE GIRLS GAVE HIM SHOUTOUT AND EVEN ADMITTED HE IS A FATHER FIGURE TO THEM! 🥹 Also, a few days ago while XG is currently on their first world tour The First Howl, he also made another appearance in disguise. He was wearing a wolf mask and being their DJ until he took the mask off gave the audience a snippet of XG’s upcoming new song Something Ain’t Right which will be release on July 26! 😎

There are two main guides a shorter one that was made after Mascara their second single and a longer better one made after Shooting Star/Left Right. But if you plan to react to more MV along with their Tapes, Vox and Move series these will have spoilers People recommend the documentary which is fine but there are really only a few segments where you just learn about the girls and their personality. My recommendation is their Mnet reality show Three Meals a Day you will get a good sense of each girl's character traits and their group dynamics while having a good time. They also have series on their page Xtra XG is basically BTS vlog for shows, MV, and aooearances. XG Days are vlogs of every day activities related to events like birthdays and exploring the locations they visited

XGALX is a subsidiary of Avex Japan. It is run by Simon Jakops who is half Japanese and half Korean, but was born in the USA. XGALX may be based in South Korea but it’s still a Japanese label. Scratch that, a GLOBAL MUSIC LABEL.
