It's very easy to not properly recognize all the members in the Woke Up MV. Those people with those negative comments don't represent the fandom who want to support these talented ladies. Yeay! More XG 🙏✌️🫶🐺. They're touring the US later this year. They rap and sing in 3 different languages. Also badass dancers.

All of XGs songs are in English, but they have mini projects between songs - the rap line make videos called XG TAPES, where they rap over existing beats. In TAPEs 1-3 they rapped in English, Korean, and Japanese (their native language). TAPE 4 (actually 5 videos about 1:30 long each released about a month before Woke Up) they rapped all in English. The vocal line make XG VOX videos, which they’ve made 6 of. 1, 2, and 6 are all English, 3 and 4 are in Korean, and 5 has segments in each language.

XG is a global group. as many have mentioned they speak 3 languages. All Japanese (Harvey half Aussie, Hinata half Korean) trained for 5 years like a K-pop group but mainly performs in English. All 7 can sing, rap, dance. Triple threats. Check out Left Right (Ciara performed a remix version in Coachella last year), the Vocal line is Hinata, Juria, Chisa, Rap line Jurin, Harvey, Maya, Cocona. Girl Gvng is fire as well, they also did an ASL version which was for their hearing challenged fans.

Most of their original songs are in English, the caption can be turned on for the MV’s. But the can rap and sing in Japanese and Korean as well. Let me tell you witnessing the rappers of XG switch effortlessly between 3 languages is something to behold.

XG primarily raps in English but they are "trilingual" Japanese, Korean, and English). Maya is fluent in English conversation (she sounds like a native speaker when she converses in English), and the other girls are at varying degrees of mastery.

Here's one suggestion for future reactions to artists whom you're listening to for the first time. At the beginning of your video you can look them up online and read the descriptions and even show them on screen as you're reading. I've seen some reactors do this, and fans usually appreciate seeing them learn about the artists in real time prior to reacting to the MV. Those who don't want to watch you do this can just skip ahead to your reaction.

When people that are from another country that don't speak English, and when they rap and sing in English, it's not just for English speaking people so they can understand it. It's for the whole world to understand it. English is the main language for the world to communicate in, especially doing business. The universal language.
