when Maya says (two tens, times that) I don’t think she means (10*10), I think it means (two tens 10+10=20) and ((times that)is the the 5 from Harvey’s line ( plus I got 5 on it) so 20 times 5 = 100) which in my opinion is a smarter way of combining the two verses together.

Because BP showcase simple Rap ( Korean Rap ) and most of their choreo, while XG was more all-rounder , swag and charisma, plus they Rap was complete package, Flow, Rhymes scheme, References, Cadence, Slant Rhymes, Wordplay, nameplay Deep words double entendre Etc. Damn their style was more on western HipHop, they got the Elements of real HipHop ,that no other Kpop rapper wanna be doin those styles , I'm not surprised if they really hits globally real quick

If he didn’t like it that could just be his own prerogative, no hate, but just a facepalm emoji on its own with no follow up seems kinda petty. I still love his music but he got a huge side eye from me with that.

Trilingual- English, Japanese, Korean. Waiting on your 3F gentlemen. Anyways, all their rap (tapes) are in 3 languages. It gets recognized. Also, their covers (VOX)are not just in English depending 9n the artist. I think Juria is my fave vocal in XG. My fave rap line in probably Maya, but my bias in XG is Hinata. I think she still has a lot to show us and her dancing is !?+? Omg.

Listen there are many talented idols out there trying to make it in this crazy ass industry. BTS are my OG and why that will never change is because that's 7 different styles that compliment each other without overshadowing one another and that's rare. For the girlies we have XG 7 different girlies that each bring something unique to the table and seem to be working hard to perfect their own separate styles so that when they come together it hits you so hard in the face that you can't help but hand them their flowers. I'm loving their growth so far and if I haven't really focused on another group as hard as I have BTS I might start focusing on XG like that going forward. They've definitely got that something. Also I love how all 4 rappers have their own type of swag. I'm torn between Jurin or Harvey as my bias btw with Hinata also calling my attention because she's so adorable. Great reaction sorry for the rant.

[XG TAPE #3-A] Two Tens (HARVEY, MAYA) They also had shoutouts to Bone Thugs-N-Harmony , J Cole, Cordae, Anderson Paak, and Luniz. Harvey- That's my ride or die plus I got 5 on it (giving props to Maya but also saying we got 5 more members just as talented). Harvey- I can do this all day, no cap, till infinity- Marvel's Captain America reference. Maya- Stats stackin' immaculately super saiyan slayin' it- Dragonball Z reference. Harvey- Slick with the shots like John Wick when I'm killin' it.- John Wick reference. Harvey- Make 'em big mad but do it humbly. Maya- Raise the level again to the next layer, If you leave it to us, there will be no problem. (In another language). Maya- Subliminal kids ain't tryna' hurt no feelings unless the shoe fits- your mind cannot perceive our talent, we are not trying to hurt anybody's feelings, but if you are one of our haters then the shoe fits..that's basically what they are saying imo. Maya- I said two tens times that we keep it hundred, Ten out of ten, we ain't doin' nothin' less than perfect.- 10x10=100, 100%=perfect.

The nothin' beat was originally done by n.or.e and prod by neptunes. Its called "Nothin'" And the two tens beat is from "Two Tens" by cordae and Anderson paak. All of them were referenced in their verses. Just like on their xypher they referenced the original songs

@@HipHopLucky7 I did some digging. Sadly, it looks like they did not write their own raps. Oh well. They have great cadence and charisma, but they're not actual rappers. But, maybe they're still learning and will starting writing!

@@catastrophegirl8029 It's a pass for me. Singing is different than rapping. Rapping is not genuine if the person rapping didn't actually write it. It's just mimicry. They're awesome mimics, but it's disingenuous in my opinion to rap without at least writing enough to receive some credit for it. They've got all the other skills. I look forward to any music they release that they actually wrote, but until then there are other groups deserving of attention.

I'll never understand why people put so much emphasis on whether or not someone wrote their own lyrics. No one cares when it's a song only when it's a rap. Do you know how many of your favorite rappers have Ghostwriters? A song is a song no matter what, and if someone else wrote it, it doesn't take away from the fact that it still takes skills to perform it. Just like if someone wrote me a song and I can't sing. That song would be awful. It's the same thing with rap. Not everyone can rap. I recite those same lyrics right along with the music video, and trust me, I sound like crap. It still takes skill.

@@msdanielle2005 Real rappers write. Simple as that. Anyone can learn the cadence. It's not particularly special. Trying to discredit rappers by saying they must use ghostwriters doesn't make your favs any more of a hollow mockery of rap. While XG don't have official credits, I've heard they are involved with the writing process and I look forward to seeing their name appear as writers in the future as they learn more.
