For everyone who doesn't know, he doesn't want to win the clash. He'd rather save his meter for extended combos

There is. As a player, if you have more health than your opponent who initiated the class then you want to hold on to your meter, which will allow you to do extended combos. Wasting your meter on a clash against an AI isn't really worth it if you know what you're doing
