16:48 Wow. This projector is a beast! Seems Xgmi has improved all aspects compared to the first version. Mogo 1 has not that pixel quality like it was 720p. Thanks Jayce for this very detailed review.

Great review! I’m undecided between this at 600€, the 1st gen Xiaomi compact projector at 369€, or the Xgimi Halo+ which is currently at 749€. Which one would you say gives the best image quality / brightness vs price ratio?

Thanks! For the price, I will go for Mi Smart Compact Projector (Global). Of course, this will depending on your needs too.

@@jayceooi thanks for the advice. Yeah, the XGIMI are probably better all around but for the price I can currently get the 1st gen Global Xiaomi Compact Projector, that’s probably the wisest choice. I don’t have particular needs, otherwise I would have gone higher up with specs. Thanks again, it’s always enjoyable watching your reviews

Thank you for the great review. Overall I'm fairly happy with the projector, especially considering its price. However, it regularly (micro) stutters when playing and using keystone correction. I understand that image quality goes down, but it should play smoothly right? I have no other choice than to use keystone. Did you also experience this while testing? Is it missing processing power? Does the HALO+ have better processing so no stuttering?

You are most welcome. Sadly, MoGo 2 Pro does have this issue when keystone correction enabled. Yes, better. Halo+ does not have this issue.

Jayce, which projector do you prefer for image motion (from streaming platforms) - Xgimi Elfin with MEMC or MoGo 2 Pro ? The prices of both are very similar 😀

Personally, I turn off MEMC on all my devices. Movies should run at 24Hz, not crazy smooth 60Hz. But that's me... 😋 I didn't try Elfin. So can't comment much.

Thanks for this video. Which is better for picture's quality between Xgimi mogo 2 pro(DMD 0.23") vs Mi Smart compact (DMD 0.33")? If compare on spec should be Mi but I wanna know on your experience.

Hi Jayce, I am planning to place a projector in the corner of my bedroom. What model will you recommend for my use case? Projector will be angled 45 degrees at corner of room to project onto the wall.

Any DLP projector with 4-way keystone support will do. But I don't recommend to project this way. Always place it straight towards the wall for the best image quality.

Hi Jayce, I am seeing this projector showing up regularly in online shop because of 4k and Full HD 1080p resolution. 200 inch 3000 lumens. Dolby certified audio, Android 9 OS with Netflix, KZfaq, Disney+ etc.. and electronic focus for only 160 USD (sale price). Can you check on that?

Any idea how to how to activate uninterrupted image correction mogo pro 2. I always get the white screen and QR squares when i move it while playing a video .

@jayceooi if you look at other reviews and on the official site it should be uninterrupted. So the white screen shouldn't appear. It should continue to play the video. That's why it's called uninterrupted
