So weird seeing this for me. The dance is exactly like my country Ethiopian dance. What the guys are doing is called "Eskista" in Ethiopia but our version has more range in movement and more of a POP added to it, and it is danced with a different style of music. The music playing here is also very familiar called "guragigna" but it has a different type of dance with more powerful footwork. These makes me wonder, were Xhosa and Ethiopian related at some point in history?

Probably related. Xhosas are part of the Bantu Nation which is dominant in areas like Uganda which is close to Ethiopia. We southern Africans migrated from central Africa. You find similarities in Bantu languages especially in old words like water (Manzi), meat etc. Even though the majority of Ethiopia is not Bantu, it could be that the tribe you are referring to is Bantu or related to the Bantu. To Nguni people (Xhosa Zulu Swazi) if you are interested in this listen to Swahili speaking people you will find a lot of similarities especially in words that were around before we mixed with Europeans and Arabs

The Bantu nation are a very influential people. Our forefathers taught and influenced Egypt their ways, they left a mark on whomever they came into contact with. They definitely influenced your people as well.
