China's President Xi Jinping is visiting France in his first trip to Europe in five years. This visit marks 60 years of diplomatic relations between France and China. Trade between China and France is worth $79 billion today. However, it has become a point of concern between Paris and Beijing, with both countries looking to avoid a confrontation over electric vehicles and French liquor. This is a very boring video which repeated the subtitles several times. When Macron was speaking there was no English subtitles so we don’t know what he said. Why should Von der Leyen be invited. She does not represent France. She can meet with China on another occasion for trade talks.
