The President of Maldives Mohamed Muizzu is currently in China. Muizzu is visiting Beijing on invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping. Xi and Muizzu have signed 20 agreements together in a major boost to bilateral ties. Muizzu becomes the first foreign head to visit China in the year 2024. Meanwhile, Muizzu has urged China to send more tourists as diplomatic relations with India continue to spiral downwards.

India never reflects on its own problems and only blames others. It is a typical immature country. I believe that China will fully implement the 20 economic cooperation and development agreements signed with the Maldives, which is a reflection of China and Maldives further deepening cooperation. China and India are completely different. China pursues win-win cooperation with the Maldives, while India pursues control of the Maldives. India's policy towards its neighbors has always been this way.

I said days earlier that if India continues escalating the diplomatic and tourism spat with Maldives over the statements of a few officials and it turns into a trade spat and increased hostility, then it risks forcing Maldives to get closer to China and turn to other markets for tourism. That's what has now transpired. The Maldives president should consider visiting Malaysia, South Africa, South Korea and Australia to promote Maldives tourism as well.

Most of the Chinese projects will never recover it's cost then China has right to own them but west and credits only after checking the viability of project.
