取材原片: • 謝霆鋒香港科技大學講座 (英文發音 中英文字幕)
Hello. Erm, thank you for the warm welcome. And, ladies and gentlemen, welcome and thank you for having me on campus. This is truly overwhelming.
I’m instructed to deliver this speech in English. So, therefore I will be speaking in English. But if any of you feel more comfortable speaking in Cantonese or Mandarin, please feel free to do so.
I do hope that at the end of this session, both parties, you and I, will gain something out of it and leave behind a somewhat kick-ass memory, alright?
Wow, this is really intense right now for me. Really. Maybe it’s because it’s the first time I’m showing up as an entrepreneur in front of a crowd.
What is really odd is that I’ve been doing this most of my life. I’ve been giving speeches and performances and talks around the world for crowds ranging from 30 people to 130,000 people but never have I been so uptight and nerve-racking. Maybe it’s because I’m simply put in front of a crowd of academics. I feel that I’m actually out of my league. I do feel that I’m talking to another calibre. I’m left out.

謝霆鋒真是一位 超好演說家🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆 Smart,charming, friendly,courteous, well mannered, fluent, good grasp of dictions & techniques of speeches, humorous,arrestig,,...he has every aspect of a world class great speaker! Young as he is, he is very successful & talented with great achievements in many areas, in addition to his movie making, he is a world class chef! What is most impressive is his unlimited tolerance & forgiving grace toward those hurtful people. No doubt,he is a good speaker as well as a good husband & a good father!

link.medium.com/oFBwGn0nMV

Why are you stressing on grammar so much. It's only spoken English as long as the pronunciation is right. The native English speakers never learn grammar for spoken English, they just pick it up by copying others especially when they are as little as in kinder. Do you have to learn an hour of grammar before being able to speak a sentence of Chinese when you were little???? That's why some people never pick up English well cos they just spend hours to learn grammar for a few words of English and keep on asking why this is the way to say it cos they are trying to understand English in Chinese grammar, Oh my Gosh, I had enough of this kind of adult students when I was their teacher years ago in Hong Kong. The bottom line is to learn English in English, learn Chinese in Chinese. You can ask Nicolas Tse if he ever had to learn grammar first before learning to speak English. Of course not.
@TiffanyTeachesEnglish
@TiffanyTeachesEnglish 5 жыл бұрын
Of course you are right in the sense that many people can learn to speak English without learning grammar. This is especially true when they started learning it when they were young. Because somehow our brains are wired to learn grammar even without knowing how to explain it. In reality, It would be really nice if adult learners can learn English this way, like a child. Let me explain my approach. I see many adult learners willing and eager to try to speak, but get misunderstood because they don’t understand grammar or because they don’t pronounce a word right. The reason why grammar needs to be explained is similar to why pronunciation rules have to be explained. Because many adults are actually blind to their mistakes. And their knowledge of the native language is affecting and interfering in with the use of English. Let me take pronunciation as an example. If it has young children who are learning English, this off and not necessary for teachers to teach them what the tongue position should be like when pronouncing as hurt and sound. Because a child can understand intuitively how to move it’s done simply by listening. However, after these children have grown up, more often than not they will have lost the ability to do this. That’s why it could be a nice idea to explain these roles to them. No matter what, people always have to try to speak and use a language if they are to learn it. Yes I do believe that they can try to use it and afterwards, they can try to review the performance with reference to grammar rules and pronunciation rules. You can see my videos that I tried to repeat what the celebrities say so as to encourage my viewers to do the same and learn by imitation. In educational theories, different experts have different opinions as to whether explicit or implicit instruction of grammar is more useful for second language learners. At the end of the day, which one of the approaches is appropriate would depend on the particular circumstances and learning background of a student. So in response to your comment, in short, I think in general I would encourage students to imitate first and apply their knowledge of English first, no matter how many mistakes they are making, and afterwards try to correct the speech and make it as precise as possible using their knowledge of pronunciation and grammar.

打錯了,應該是同學不是有問題的人,可否語氣婉轉一些,斯文一些,整個畫面都是你說話的表情,10分不舒服,可以改進下嗎
