exactly, I don't want a blowout max damage due to unfair stats, I want similar stats and similar comparison, this youtuber went the extra mile and I applaud the effort... Also, this makes me choose which set is better for my playstyle.

Yeah and it serves the true purpose of thr video: to see the damage DIFFERENCE. If we want to see max dmg potential using this artif we wouldve looked for a showcase, not artifact comparison. So for artifact comparison this is hpw it should be, perfectly fair

Yeah, you're absolutely right. The only thing I can see that the new set could do is to reduce your Energy problems by investing on ER since you already get excess attack. Not really worth it to farm over 2pc VV/SR if you don't wanna get railed and creampied by artifact rng

Well, I personally find almost 20k more damage (specially taking in consideration that these builds from this showcase have really low Crit Dmg, with higher crit the difference in damage would be even more significant) fairly good! But yes, for an increase of around 10% extra damage on a well built Xiao, this is definitely not worth it for people who's still in need of buildin' some other characters. I'm included on those cases that "want to maximaze his damage", sure, but that's mostly 'cause I have no other character I wanna build atm and I also already have over 10 million Mora saved (and that's after fully upgradin' an Ayato, I was with almost 18kk before), I don't need to farm more resources. So to veteran players, I don't see why not farm it, since is a increase of damage for a character that doesn't have dedicated supports yet. Mine's already at some respectable 2419 Atk, 85.1/188.4 Crit Rate and Dmg, while also havin' 135.6% ER with his 2-piece Viridescent + 2-piece Shimenawa Set, so I don't really need the upgrade _but, since Xiao is my favorite character, I have nothin' else to spend my Resin on and farming this new set will be at least easier to farm than Gladiator. I find it a reasonable investment. I can even transfer my 2-piece sets that were his to other characters, would actually be really helpful on buildin' my future Yoimiya, for example, specially 'cause the 2 Shimenawa pieces I have are a Sands and a Circlet... but mostly, now I'll have motivation to even focus more on my Xiao's crit rate and crit damage rolls, instead of relying a lot on Atk% rolls as it had to be with my current set

My Xiao is 83/197 with 50k x 3 E.skill and 45k-65k burst + Bennet and dragon. I wanna change my artefct but after i saw your comment i think i wont change my artefact 😂

@@aditsyah8773 i have almost the same situation, almost rank 57, but never had anemo supports for xiao, only got jean and sucrose recently and also want to take kadzuha in future and the problem is they all want anemo set and farming new set for xiao may be a decision to give his pieces to them. Also in video crit dmg is almost equal, but in scale having 180-200+ crit dmg can give you a possibility to save bennet for another crew because the new set gives a lot of damage in perspective. The difference per plunge might be not 20-22k, but 50-70k and it is really a lot🤷🏼‍♀️

Same here! Maining Xiao since 1.3, but instead, it took me 10ish months to have 80/230, I'm not gonna suffer again when 2vv/2glad xiao is already strong enough

yea exactly but honestly the amount of grinding required to get lucky enough for decent pieces like these, its not worth it unless your also grinding for Ayato and to be honest i have Ayato and i dont even want the new set because of the RNG mechanic. basically imo its not worth it but quite a few Genshin KZfaqrs share my sentiment

It honestly isn't, mathematically speaking yeah. If you however, are like me who doesn't rly have anyone to build and wants to max ur Xiao to a higher level, sure go farm it, just know that it's gon take long and might not be worth it time if ur Xiao already has cracked substats.

@@yubiyubiw yeah the thing is, those who already have Xiao probably have some cracked gladiator, shimenawa, or viridescent set that probably can go up to 60/200 cv. 20% damage to Xiao's plunge which minimum can deal 20k is just 2k additional damage, which is not worth the hard grind.

exactly 9,45... in other hand raiden c3 increase her dmg in 15% i think that is just way harder to get a 4p set while u can always farma glad on bosses and 2p on the domain

Keep in mind that it's a Deathmatch (a weapon with low base attack) and low crit damage. If you have a 5 star weapon on Xiao, I would imagine the difference can become much more meaningful. And still, even in this comparison, the damage difference in one burst is one entire plunge attack. I do think it's a bit meaningful in the long run

You also have to remember the 4 piece only works when you lose health. So the less health you have the stronger it becomes. So it's not actually a good comparison, only at full health.

Not really, itto set vs 2 piece and 2 piece is only as much better as xiao's one, this set makes a huge difference in xiao's best team double geo double anemo, since he don't get much attack there and will be like 14% more dmg, 14% more dmg is huge, upgrading your talent levels from 8 to 10 is also pretty much this amount. All the other character's 4 piece vs 2 pieces aren't that big of a difference too, expect something like blizzard. Xiao true, doesn't have a good support. But that's the only thing he lacks, no need to lie about other things

you say that as if itto is the only one to benefit from the release of husk LMFAO. the set is for albedo, yunjin, and noelle as well. meanwhile xiao’s is Just for him. if anything you should be flattered they gave him an entire set that literally only HE can use.

Now that's what multiplier means. Big % numbers aren't everything. But good balance will do wonders.

@@kittenmimi5326 one more thing, every mono element have their own elemental dmg booster support like Sara (electro) and Gorou (geo). Shenhe and Bennett not counted because they're cryo and pyro, Kazuha also can't boost anemo dmg. Anemo only have Jean, Venti, and anemo mc (Jean and Venti need some constellation) to apply anemo shred. Hoyo should make the anemo version of Shenhe who can buff plunge dmg and skill dmg

True, I have Xiao and Ayato too and it's a win/win in that domain because I could get Xiao artifacts or Ayato artifacts.. Unlike when I'm going in the Zhou domain, I could get a crimson witch, but I always get good lavawalkers which makes me angry >:(

Worse than shimenawa. It doesnt work on her double-arrows, because she shoots them faster than 0.2 sec. Only 5 of the 7 arrows will get the bonus.

@@zeberiko In all honesty, it’s better to run Bolide on her if you have a shielder like Zhongli or Diona/Thoma. It has around the same NA bonus with none of the energy issues (also even though it’s bad her burst does add a lot for her damage and helps support other teammates so it shouldn’t be neglected)

You'd better stick to permanent buff rather than gacha dmg for yoimiya. Especially since she doesn't actually need her burst

@@browserjunior4707 Diona's shield can be broken unlike Thoma's refreshing, so with her bolide is unstable. NA bonus difference is small, but shime gives +18% atk which affect both NA and burst (~ +7% dmg). Burst animation takes LARGE amount of time, you know... Anyway, Bolide is still the second best option for Yoi.

True i spend alot of time grind my ass of to find a good artifact for him, now the new set is released i just dont wanna spend so much time again just for 2k difference and would just rather build other team that helps xiao instead.

Yup. My Xiao is my most invested character with a great crit ratio. So there's no way ill be able to grind for this set. Though it will be a good set for future Xiao mains i think.

If you take bennie's atk buff and with this set's atk buff together you get so less value compare to without benny and only with this artifact's buff. Too much external buffs diminish the buff of this set. Anyways in the end it's upto you how optimally you play ur character and with Benny or without benny is a flaw or not! I m just giving my opinion after i test myself. Don't just say anything without knowing what is the context behind the comments.

Someone said it in an earlier comment, but if you have high base atk weapons (primordial, queller, etc.) you will see more gains from new arti set. Just food for thought.

The way mihoyo making all this artifact are balanced. We should always use what we have instead trying to force the 4 set.

@@sichen3747 So , Regarding a very misunderstood topic of Jenshin , which is Dimishing return , I will try my best to summarise the calculation on Atk For instance , let's imagine you have : Base Atk = 1000 Atk% = 0 Flat Atk = 500 Using the formula = 1000 + (1000 * 0) + 500 = 1500 Now let's add 50% Atk into your character Using the formula = 1000 + (1000*50%) + 500 = 2000 Which means you will have 33.33% increase But This time let's have : Base Atk = 1000 Atk% = 100% Flat Atk = 500 Using the formula = 1000 + (1000 * 100%) + 500 = 2500 Now let's add 50% Atk like what we did to the previous one Using the formula = 1000 + (1000*150%) + 500 = 3000 Which means you will have 20% increase It seems like the increase of numbers are the same , right ? But actually the value of it are decreasing the more you stack it and thus creating a Dimishing return .

Fortunately even after 3 months of grinding, I do not have a decent glad + viridiscent. Lol😂

bro on regular basis you need 3 months for a character farming (aka using resins only for farming that domain).. Also the damage increase is minimal so yeah so you can go for it or stay with the same set unless you farm that domain for some1 like ayato yoimiya etc

Just to remind you that this is using deathmatch which has low base atk. Idk if it'd be a larger difference with PJWS or not. Edit: Ok I checked the difference is bigger, yes. But, it's still small (±5k)

Yeah I agree with this a lot. I'm using skyward spine on him which has high base atk. And I've seen people comparing the sets with a 5 star weapon and the dmg difference is actually a lot bigger. Considering I also use a 5 star weapon, this domain is worth it for me.
