did you know that "lover's oath" only played twice in-game? the first time was when the traveler first meets xiao during the liyue archon quest line, and second was during an event where the traveler plays the zither with him! (//▽//)
anyway, good lord this archon quest was beautifully written. the A N G S T yall, and the L O R E. oh, and the xiaolumi content as well 💗💗💗 tysm hoyo!

I swore the same myself. I stopped midway through right around the time Xiao said it was his last will. I knew they were gonna pull something. I had to walk away for two days. lol. I have three untouchable characters: Xiao, Albedo, and Childe. Funny how they all have A names too. Albedo, Alatus, Ajax. I also admit to a soft spot for Diluc. I'd seriously quit the game if they touch my guys.

@@ladyonyx3811 that part made me incredibly uneasy, yeah. And my untouchables would be also Albedo, Xiao, Kazuha and perhaps Venti. I remember being nervous during Shadows Amidst Snowstorms that Albedo would die. I don't like it when stories toy with my favourite character's lives at all. It's not fun.

@@aliciarosemusic i picked up that we were dealing with an imposter pretty quickly I know my guys pretty well. missing birthmark gave it away. That and he was jumping in and out of character right from the beginning. Trailer had me scared we were going to fight albedo but I was worried he was being forced to fight us, not that he genuinely wanted to. I was on edge but that fight scene was EPIC. Such good choreography, music, and graphics. they nailed it. One of the best scenes in the game. we haven't heard the last from subject two tho...cant wait for november

They can give us small heart attacks to keep the story interesting but death of a playable character would be bad. Everyone has their own untouchables… Mine are Kaeya, Xiao and Kazuha. I’m slightly worried as I absolutely love Kaeya. What if there’s a moment when he turns to the dark side and becomes an enemy or something… (you have to choose between Kaeya and Diluc, I like both brothers.) But Childe being a fatui hasn’t stopped him being with us, so… He just gets beaten up every Monday :)

I thought that the golden light that appeared that saved Xiao was going to be the Traveler, and it was going to be like the Traveler’s turn to save Xiao after he saved the Traveler on the Jade Chamber. I was a little sad when I realized it wasn’t, but that disappeared after I realized Zhongli was the one to save Xiao, like a father protecting his son

in this quest they also mentioned how close the traveler and Xiao really were. In the very end of the quest he said something that was very unlike Xiao. :) the traveler called him a hero and he first denied it but then accepted it and said he liked being called a hero.

I never thought someone would animate but this has got to be the wholesome XiaoLumi. Technically I was expecting Mihoyo to do more than Lumine approaching Xiao after Zhongli saved him, but this is worth watching after the delay and how XiaoLumi is back again. My beautiful Xiaolumi. I cried a lot at the event, but it was nice to watch how the traveler takes care of him. I'm glad that I found this animation, that my comfortable bunnies are here and that Xiao is so cute buried in Luminе neck 😭💗 This is the best video on such a beautiful peering!
