I watch her channel religiously because I enjoy seeing people forage the coast. But what bothers me the most is that she eats the octopus eggs. If you know an octopus is pregnant you should let it go. Octopus Only give birth once in their lifetime And then die shortly after. They are semelparous animals, and only 5% of those eggs make it to adulthood. If you find an octopus that already has eggs just let it go to sustain the current population. I just don’t understand. People let pregnant crabs go and they are much more abundant. They should do the same for the octopus. I know certain countries have laws against it. But you should just let it go because you care about the planet and the animals not because it is a law.
