I agree it is such a waste. It is not worth it. It is one of the worlds most ancient creatures. And she takes them by the bucketful like it’s no big deal. Eating starfish is ridiculous you get like nothing from it. And I can’t stand the way she treats octopus. She will mess with them sometimes before putting them in a bucket. And she just throws them in there. It is proven that octopus are so smart that they know what it is to play. Octopus intelligence has been compared and equivocated to The intelligence of mammals particularly apes. Would you go to the jungle and just throw a monkey in the bucket and chow down on it. I just can’t watch her anymore. She pays no respect or heed to the life that she takes from the sea to sustain her own life. ( I posted this to another person that basically said the same thing you did.)

To just take it & let it die for no porpose is;nt right...My Dad taught me when it comes to Nature... you can kill an animal if its to eat & feed your family...But to kill for no reason is going against nature....Maybe Im wrong.... But I dont think God intended things he made to die for no reason....

I believe the only edible part of starfish are the eggs which are in each of the "legs.". After cooked...each "leg" is split open down the middle and they eat the eggs out. Such a waste of such beautiful creatures. So GREEDY to take so many!!
