I laughed so hard when she said in Falling Into Your Smile, as Tong Yao that she's not flexible enough and her waist will break when Cheng tries to kiss her. Knowing too damn well she can fold into half. I'm starting to stan her! Hoping for her more projects and other cdramas. Her chemistry with Xu Kai is undeniable! They are so good!

Everyone forgets that Cheng Xiao and Victoria were both discovered at the same Chinese dance academy. They have been doing flexibility training since the ages of 3 or 4 so a lot of work went into their current flexibility levels.

I don’t think they were alums? Victoria went the full Beijing Dance Academy route; Cheng Xiao grew up in Shenzhen and went to Shenzhen Arts High, which is far away from Beijing. The intense flexibility training part is definitely real though.

All 3 Chinese members have been on a hiatus and promoting in China but hopefully they’ll be mature enough to release an update on the status of their involvement with wjsn though I not that’s a stretch because knowing both companies we’ll never hear from them like now

The thing she does when tying her laces I tried doing that last night and literally cracked a bone and whenever I lift my leg to try and do a high kick my bones crack so this proves that it’s true when my nieces call me old and I’m only 16 Edit: I can now do the leg wall thing

Maybe, try to do it but lying down. Like, your stomach is on the floor, and you grab your leg, and hold it like a scorpion. Or, you could use like a band or something to pull your leg up

It's bothering me that her stylist had her wear mini shorts when she's doing splits and moves like that.... she wasn't even wearing tights & even idols wear tights when dancing with such short pants. It's for their safety against unwanted exposure

These are the basic skills of traditional Chinese dance, and almost every dancer who learns traditional Chinese dance can do it. But Cheng Xiao is very talented. She is naturally softer than ordinary people, but she also needs a lot of learning and hard work. She is excellent, talented and hardworking.💕

Any type of sport or dance that requires great flexibility has really harsh training, no matter the country. That's why people say it's best to start young with these sports/dances, bc u are more flexible as a child and u will ge used to it easier as opposed to starting in ur teens/adolthood.

I love Falling Into Your Smile and I can’t get over it, I’m in episode 30 and I can’t bring myself to finish it and start with episode 31 I really like it and I don’t want it to be done. I hope they give us a season 2 as soon as possible. Meanwhile does anyone have any recommendations that are sweet and don’t take long to confess just like Falling Into Your Smile? Edit: I just saw on google that Falling Into Your Smile has been renewed for a 2nd season and is expected to release in June 2022, I hope this is actually true

Also just want to rant Korea does NOTHING for idols who’s specialty is dancing I swear because I thought that this girl was probably okay in her field of dance just from what I saw in Korean shows but seeing the shows she is in now like shit she is BOMB! And now I can’t help but wonder how much more idols talents were just completely ignored because of the Korean entertainment~ idk just yeah bleh just something that came to my head~
