When it comes to flagship segment, smartphone manufacturers offer convergent specs and it's all about you and your preferences i.e Which brand you trust, Which brand you prefer it's UI and user experience, and also I think that no one cares about app launch speed tests because the difference between one device and another is often only few milliseconds

I see you are swiping from the bottom of the screen on the Samsung to go home, even when you're playing a game in landscape mode. 8:47 (You swipe from the short side instead of the long side like with the Xiaomi) How did you set that up?

If you use gestures, that will just work as the universal back button but rotated. You can still swipe from the side like with the Xiaomi

@@slapsticks666 he didn't deactivate the animation in the developer mode, he wen to the already existing option which is called remove animation. And that's how samsung designed they're removed Animations.

@@eagleturbo5475 basically its just like that, samsung just add that option outside developer options. when you compare side by side, all must be in same default settings of the phone. if you tweak remove animation then its not anymore a fair comparison coz the other one has animation and the other has no animation, so our eyes will tell which one looks faster and snappier.

You didn´t remove the animations on Xiaomi. They are still on. You have to go to the developer options and deactivate the animations there.

I am an S23 Ultra owner, and even to me not removing animations on the Xiaomi made this test an uneven playing field.

Xiomi 13 has 16 gb ram and s23 ultra has a maximum limit of 12 gb ram but I prefer s23 ultra its perfect on everything

He did it well friend I remove the animations and use the gestures, in miui 14 there is a Bug that does not remove the animation to exit the apps so the fault comes from Xiaomi not from the colleague

@@MBEATZ331 as all rounder the xiaomi wins also considering the massive price difference and insane less than 20min to 100% charging times. And the device last forever, my 9t pro is 6 years old and works like on the first day. Screen never cracks even throw across the road several drops higher than 1m and all without screenprotector and the display not even has a scratch after 6 years even carry in the pocket with keys together. So that's a phone! Apple: look around you how many apple you see with cracked screens. Samsung.: not as bad but still so much more, xiaomi I not saw one cracked device in my life 45years. Apple 3rd party repair made hard due to self destruct devices builtin if use 3rd party, even just a power button. Samsung at least is open to 3rd party and cheap repair. So would be xiaomi just in there you don't need it 😜

I'm so glad i bought my 13 ultra from Germany. This phone is so ridiculously awesome. I believe it was worth it. But damn was it expensive

thought samsung would do a little better but ok sure, xiaomi is good but the video rendering like wtf was that, thats def a bug bc galaxy is not even nearly as slow as that, xiaomi might beat it in the video rendering but trust me the difference should not be that big, samsung even beat the iphone in other video rendering apps so dont know what happened here

Yeah, no shining star amongst Android phones in 2023. All have the same chip, pros and cons in their cameras, all are expensive, with great displays, etc. Comes down to brand loyalty; why change if there is nothing between phones anymore? We are close to Android flagships being mature with little to differentiate. You would be biased if you complained about either of these two, and add to that the Honor, OPPO, Xioami, as well as upcoming Pixel. Just buy what you enjoy and know that whatever, you are getting amazing tech.

the chips literally just depend on the companies that make chips there being 3: qualcomm, mediatek and samsung (theirs are worse bcs of the inferior manufacturing) since these are all flagships phones they are very similar

Adobe Premiere rush isn't officially supported on the S23 Ultra. Please do not use that app for testing rendering speed as it simply doesn't run well on the device. it is fine on quite literally any other editing app

@@ezronthelegend no because the benchmarks are higher on the xiaomi the clock speeds are higher on the samsung but xiaomi tuned the kernel to deliver to run at a higher clock on average (it's a phone not a desktop pc)

It runs 48-54fps and lower if it runs 30mins or longer while ziaomi maintain 59-60fps even above 30mins ;). Not even most popular ytuber mention about this cuz samsung paid em lol

Samsung won. You only boot once and after that opening the apps is typically a priority. Samsung smashed it once booted.

Went from S21U 512 to S23U 512, and the only drawback is sometimes 12GB of memory is not enough. And, I did not want to trade UFS chip life for Ram Plus.

How 12 GB are not enough? I traded a 12gb Oneplus 9 PRO for 8 GB Samsung S23 Ultra and trust me not a single app was faster on 12 GB than 8 GB. Even more the S23U keeps more apps in cache than Oneplus. Someone made a speed comparison between 12GB S23U and 8GB S23U and it wasn't any difference. I think people really don't know how android and ram works.

@@bogdan7800 Ram consumption is YMMV by people. For my situation, Sam tried to keep more apps in the background. as android wear/android auto/Statefram and other apps suspend in the background, my available ram is always less than 2 GB. So basically if I did not manually kill those apps, opening a camera app would slow the whole phone down significantly. It's never happened in my s21u before, and my ram usage for that is never gone over 70%.
