Nice video, thanks. I'm using the normal Xiaomi 14 and I'm very happy with it, payed 700 € brand new (512 GB). Battery life is great, 90 Watt charging too and I like the cameras. Switched from a S24 and didn't regret it so far.

Those photos and videos look amazing indeed! But as an ex xiaomi user, I agree with all your remarks about the software. There were so many annoyances, incompatabilities or just quirks that made me switch. I don't expect the new logo of the OS would help with those.

My favorite Xiaomi phone remains Mi A2 lite. Because it was part.of the Google One program and has stock Android ☺️

I'll disagree but I'm also used to hyperOS because I'm coming from the mix fold 3. That being said I love this phone. Then again I think using a custom rom helps

Very nice review. You scratched the paint away on the lovely bezel 3:10 😮 Does the material really scratch off thst easily?

Not at all. What is left is the paint from the toy. The bezel is quite solid.

I have a question. I have a xiaomi 13t pro. it is a good and nice phone, but I have discovered that my MV voltage is sometimes too high and that my battery capacity is only (4633.1) out of 5000 mah. capacity is estimated at (93%). Is it that way or should I have my phone checked, because I've only had my phone for about 2 months. what is your advice?

Do you truly recommend the Xiaomi 14 Ultra for using it to shoot video for professional content creation? Will it provide truly professional video recording with very high quality? From Android smartphones it will be the only one I'd pick. bUT: snapdragons fail to deliver true constant FPS which for me is a big setback. Right now I rely on Osmo Pocket 3 and Sony ZV-1 form portable cameras mostly

Get a good Multicoated UV filter. The bright daylight photos are improved if you look closely.

no eSim is kind of a deal breaker, especially considering it's an expensive phone. Otherwise I would not hesitate - maybe I will get it for a lower price..or maybe I'll get a phone with worse camera but no connectivity flaw..

Why are KZfaqrs pedaling this phone in the US? T-Mobile told me it's not compatible with their service. As much as I would love to buy a Xiaomi 14 Ultra, I can't use it as a cellphone.

If course you can. You can note down the bands used by your provider and check how many if them will be available in the US. Most times it is down to 5G coverage in certain regions.

Have it since release. Its more like a real camera than a smartphone camera. With the photography kit and filters attached reeeeeally good results. Miles ahead of an s24 ultra which does nothing really good in the camera department.

Thanks for the video, i've had wished for the Ultra model, but since it was way too expensive, i got the normal 14 one. Now, that the Ultra has been a bit reduced in price, i'm thinking of selling the Xiaomi 14 (coz, i got to feel the phone being a bit too compact in hand & the screen a bit small for movies in 2024) to get the 14U. Could you please help me decide whether or not to go for it ? My points of concern are: I'am a part photographer and that sensor size is what i wish for (how much that diff from Xiaomi 14) Prefer a decent battery life. Comfort of the phone in hand. Considering the above, should i go get this one or the regular 14 would be the best decision. @TechMishka

The comfort is on the regular 14 side, at least IMO. The battery life is similar with both. As for photo quality, the Ultra is brilliant. The regular 14 is not too far behind it though.

Yes that’s all fine but did they fix the lens condensation issue . It really put me off. Also it rattles - the lenses rattle around due to stabilization being turned off. Another annoying thing they didn’t fix

No question, Xiaomi 14 ultra is the best overall. But Oppo find x7 's camera is better than Xiaomi 14 ultra .

The vivo X100 Pro has a dedicated ISP which might be quite a positive thing about processing. Haven't tried it myself though

I regret buying Google Pixel 8 Pro last year it is by far the worst phone I have ever owned! Hardware is horrendous every month or so something needs hard reset of a certain setting for example bluetooth failing quite often in connecting to my car or other devices. Freezes often with its on screen buttons and overheats! And horrific BATTERYYYY 5000 MORE LIKE 2000 mAh. I used to own redmi note pro it was ok but also horrific hardware hated that phone to why i thought google maybe better but absolute garbage.

The poor battery life is down to the SoC being used. But it is a very decent phone in the end of the day.

I bought this phone and unfortunately it has a lot of things you don't know beforehand: 1) impossible to take photos at 50 mpx by default! You have to go to the photo menu every time, and in the "plus" tab choose 50 mpx. It's just nonsense! 2) You can't use the zoom lever on the professional kit if you choose the 'raw' photo format. This is really very disappointing for a camera of this price that claims to be "professional"!

If you are looking for pro modes, then none of these should be too much of a hassle. Most photographers are very comfortable with manual controls.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra battery is shameful as it does not meet the purpose and does not complete the day compared to other flash phones.And many other problems, such as the absence of a call sensor and the protrusion of the camera...

It does have a proximity sensor as far as I remember. As for battery life - the camera consumes the most :)
