This is so far from what I experience with my Xiaomi 14 Ultra. And I have compared it with the Galaxy S24 Ultra, Honor Magic 6 Pro, and Pixel 8 Pro. I own the global version. The results I get with the Xiaomi 14 Ultra are just so good that I wonder what happened in your comparison...

Xiaomi is like a camera, and a camera cannot be compared like this. These reviews do not represent the true potential. I have the Xiaomi 14 Ultra and the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. Xiaomi is much better in cameras. Xiaomi is only worse in selfies.

Great comparison. Completely understand about the rain preventing you from getting the low lights. I'm from South Florida, so I've heard that England's weather can be quite similar with the downpour, except much colder.

I enjoyed this collaboration. What would have been better is Ben brings the Google Pixel 8 Pro, Samsung S24 Ultra and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Dariusz the Vivo X100 Pro, Oppo Find X7 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Maybe add the Honor Magic 6 Pro. That would have been a battle Royal for the first quarter of 2024. In this current review, the Xiaomi microphones are a little quiet, so was the iPhone. The Samsung increases sensitivity with the zoom. The iPhone good in video. Samsung has it's good points too.

Me watching about xiaomi 14 ultra from the Xiaomi 14 ultra 😅. Actually 14 Ultra is really good , very smooth performance.❤ However I must say that , these reviewer's review told us about some features of the devices (exàmple , effect of selfie in samsung) which other reviewers didn't point out. As a Xiaomi 14 ultra user , I must add that xiaomi 14 ultra's pro mode(camera option) provide real time tinkering with the camera like increasing staturation , tint, preset chànging ( we can add our own preset if we have a one ) which i think it is very usefull for a professional photo .

Great comparison, as always! I have the S24 Ultra and I enjoy shooting with it. 1. You missed night time though. Would have been interesting to see the difference the 1" brings. 2. In the superzoom 30x, 100x etc - it might seem Samsung has more details, but I feel their AI sharpness enhancement is better on clear text. Like if you look at the smaller Yes and No, Xiaomi actually has more detail, though blurred. Samsung looks like symbols. But the larger text is clearer on Samsung, so it makes it seem like it has more detail. I would give the win on the zoom to the Xiaomi. 3. For video on the main sensor, I actually liked the punchy colours on the Xiaomi - Samsung looked a bit dull IMO. iPhone had the perfect balance. But yes - it doesn't handle skin colours accurately - it's all about the environment - for someone who shoots more landscapes, maybe the Xiaomi might work better. 4. You could have tried an indoor test or some place where there isn't as much cloud cover as Xiaomi looked dark and underexposed whenever the sky was visible. So it seemed to be the worst possible scenario for it. 5. The selfie video on Xiaomi is telling - shows that it isn't as mature or well rounded as Samsung is today. And that maturity is the reason Samsung takes the cake in this test/. Xiaomi has a LOT of potential to improve - it is whether Xiaomi spends the next year tuning the software or will they rush to release a Xiaomi 15 Ultra and leave it as is. I love the photography kit option too - that makes me jealous of the Xiaomi.

Another great detailed review, and collab. Xiaomi has some great highs, but the lows also tend to be tragic. The front camera doesn't compete on any level. But the rear definitely gives the 2 established powerhouses a run for their money, and even edges them in some cases. Also for me in most cases I preferred the Xiaomi colours. The other aspects (e.g. Exposure, blur), it's inconsistent. Unfortunately since the price of the premium Xiaomi nowadays is around the same range as the other 2 brands, they have to do better with the front camera.

I've watched a lot of channels, but why are Chinese smartphones overexposed only on your channel, although they are very good in hardware compared to the old iPhone and Samsung cameras. The Xiaomi 14 ultra was released quite recently and has not yet received any updates and fixes for cameras, color rendering and exposure. Samsung was released on January 17th more than a month earlier and has received three 3 updates today, the iPhone was released in September and received 1000 updates and fixes. If this comparison was at least in May-June, then most likely it was the other way around, Xiaomi would have done everything. The channel is good, but the comparison is unfair, comparing a newly released smartphone without updates with long-released devices. On Samsung, a 3-x camera module looks worse than a digital crop from an iPhone, since there is a very small and outdated 1/3.52 inch sensor, which is probably five years old or older, and isn't this saving on customers. Now I have 24 ultra on my hands and he disappointed me in terms of cameras and animations, they are just terrible.

Literally talked on the livestream last night about wanting you to do this exact comparision. Ben...are you a mind reader my guy???!!!😂 Just adding some observations from watching, S24U kept focusing on the details on the back brick wall for some reason. That's why the detail wasn't there, if you look, the back wall is in focus, while the others correctly focused on both subjects in the frame. Samsung gotta lool into that.

Got all three phones. As a tech user, get pro max for video. S24 ultra for the most consistent all around android performer. Mi 14 ultra for the extremely great photo cameras (main+zoom).

I didn't expect the Xiaomi's front facing camera to look so bad at the beginning. Lack of detail and poor exposure.

The Xiaomi has trouble in the 3.2x zoom. Colours aren't holding consistent and it looks like it's pushing certain colours saturation way too high and unevenly to the scene. That 1080p portrait mode on the Xiaomi was terrible. The S24 Ultra looked the most pleasant and consistent of all 3 to me. The only area I feel the S24 Ultra fell behind was the FoV in the Ultra Wide angle camera. When you compared the 200MP mode, you failed to recognise the extreme details that were picked up over both Xiaomi and Iphone which is very significant. I'm not saying it makes for a better picture, but it's clearly visible as you punch in.

Interessantes Video. Allerdings musst du bei alledem bedenken, dass ein Xiaomi 14 Ultra ein WQHDR + Display, hat oder? Außerdem ist die gegebene Farbkalibrierung etwas verschieden als die vom iPhone, welches als Beispiel„nur“ ein Full-HD + Display besitzt. Insofern zeigt uns das Xiaomi Display mehr Farben an. (Wie einst das von Oppo, bei dem Find X 5 Pro) Das muss man mit in die gesamte Bewertung mit einbeziehen. Und es wäre gut, das beim Vergleich an einem großen 4K-Monitor zu verdeutlichen, zu exemplifizieren. Die Unterschiede sind nicht so groß, wie das suggeriert wird. Die Details, ja, die mögen anders erscheinen. Aber so mies, wie das iPhone bei Fotos gemacht wird, ist es nicht. Apple behält sich seinen Stil bei und wird in kommenden Generationen aufholen. Der Bokeh-Effekt, der beim Porträt-Modus auftritt, ist sehr gut, die 48 MP bei 24 mm und wenn gutes Licht vorhanden ist, ist klasse. Meiner subjektiven Einschätzung nach großartig. Nur wenig Licht ist Apple mit Problemen behaftet. Das Ultra kann übrigens KEIN 4K 60 Fps und Dolby Vision. Es geht nur 30 FPS, Kein 25 FPS.

About the video section many instances the Samsung was best, also in some instances the xiaomi was best, the xiaomi has exposure issue. Overall the iPhone is just best, as it did well in many instances. Not too oversharpened. Both iPhone and Samsung are close

I got my S24Ultra for £739 with a trade in deal. I sold the free Watch 6 for £150. So £589. Xiaomi 14 Ultra is £1299 but they giving me £838 for the S24 Ultra. What do you advise???

iPhone overall wins for me, because I feel like it’s the best base photo, Samsung over processes sometimes if that’s what you like you can edit on the iPhone too, Samsung sometimes better colors yeah I definitely prefer them but can be edited too, iPhone a lot of the time had more detail colors can be tweaked

Team SAMSUNG ❤. I'll never go wrong swapping my s23u with s24u. Good decision. Most of the blur u gave iPhone and xaiomi, u didn't notice the grass colour. They were lemon. 👏

For me in 4K video as well as pictures the Xiaomi 14 comes out as the clear winner. It is the only one which basically looks like a DLSR camera. It is not oversharpened while at the same time offering loads of details. Also the focus of the 24 Ultra was off for a lot of pictures. The overexposure of the xiaomi can be fixed in post, the artificial oversharpening of the Samsung and especially the Iphone cannot.

In the 30 minutes, at 5x zoom it seems that Samsung's focus is on the house and landscape in the background... very strange... hence the lack of details in the people.

Feels like on the main sensor Xiaomi 14 ultra wins by far , selfie and everything else ultrawide and even zoom i think looks better on S24 ultra and iphone 15 pro max , only the 5x and 10x looks ok on xiaomi 14 ultra but that 3.2x look a bit wierd , at least the video from main sensor looks good on all , but god the selfie on xiaomi really sucks

I bet this was before samsung's april camera update. we should wait and compare the s24 ultra after we get the latest update. i saw someone from south korea uploaded a video with the updated s24 ultra and wow you can't tell the difference anymore from the 15 pro max and the s24 ultra
