It's pretty useless mate. Don't waste your time or money in buying one, they're simply a spring and it doesn't do much. Save your money and either buy a monorim or another scooter with proper suspension.

Yes, it's a bell. The only use for it, is to lock the steering stem into place so I can carry it. Surely it can't be used for anything more practical? 🤣🤣🤣

It's a bit of Chinese suspension crap mate. It's simply a spring and no dampening and I don't think it does anything. I've got to tune mine. I haven't touched it since I fitted the new BMS so there's loads more to give yet. I'm considering converting this one into a rear wheel drive with 10" wheel and something atound 2kw - it should be fun 😊

@@Vortecks be plenty of interest in such a build for sure. RWD would feel more natural to me too, being pulled from the front is quite an odd sensation! I should perhaps look at a battery monitoring system but I did finally take the plunge on a mid drive off the shelf e bike the other day, whether I should of bought a bomber/stealth frame and a silly hub motor... time will tell :D. My scooter confidence might be growing... I did almost come off the other day avoiding a bloody huge pot hole and putting my foot on the floor to steady myself *doh* ... somehow stayed on after quickly realising my error :D. It was a little dark and it snook up on me! I'm not really sure they should be legalised on roads yet, pavements perhaps haha.

I read that there is a high change that they will legalise the use of electric scooters but, they may have to have mechanical brakes front and rear, and suspension. marbesky Yes, did a brief analysis of the suspension system on the X , and it is the best I’ve yet seen. A supremely elegant design with strength and adjustability........but it does come in at about 5000 pounds. On the plus side the chassis would take any number of “mad Tony” upgrades.
