I like how the reviewer balanced the pros and cons of what the device has to offer. For me, in this way, reviews could not be more honest and professional - I can't seem to spot any bias. Good job and keep up, Guys!

Have this phone for over 2 years. And what can I tell about it. I had a lot of phones from cheap to flagship android and iphones, but this phone I love it, it has great performance and great cameras, never lag in this 2 years or any problem with lagging. Display is great and i prefer lcd more over led. Haptic is great and has a flagship feel. Baterry after over 2 years of very heavy use is at 83% and efficiently is at 88%, and I'm a really heavy user and still I get one day of using and 5-6h od screen on time. Only problem is with the virtual proximity sensor where it turns in screen sometimes when you are talking on the phone, but I'm used to it. Its great phone and really good quality.

Ima wreck this in games. Amoled will die and burn for me in 3 months guaranteed. I need thicc high refresh rate ips with sd865 that doesnt break the bank so I can buy another if I destroy it. No. No more of that pansy amoled shit that gets burnt when abused

@@vky4434 but oled screen gets burn in less than a year ... At present high refresh oleds has many display issues .. They should improve oled tech in coming years, or micro led is way to go, waiting for apple to launch it

Terrie L duprie Micro led won’t happen anytime soon For TV oled it’s acceptable that burn in may occur ... But phones .. No way You must abuse it seriously to get burn in :) Am using XS Max Heavy usage + gaming PUBG No such problems for me .

no jack= no go, it's not for the $10 for the external usb dac but for the burden of a tiny dongle that you loose or wiring that dies

Nah 5 yrs is too long, I'd say in 3 yrs a 300$ phone can easily rival today's 1000$ phone esp in performance.

Relative to price, you can just wait after 2 or 3 years and this will be in entry-level price in second-hand market if you're lucky enough.

Finally a phone which has a reasonable pixel density for me. At my age I have lost the ability to see it anyway. Though NITS get more important. But the camera should still be good for me. As I edit and view/use on a large screen anyway. Not a gamer, so power and speed should be perfectly working for the next 5 years. I just waved goodbye to my 2013 Note 3! No SD should not be any problem with 5G and clouds. SIM could also be replaced by eSIM. And this rather large amount of space saving would be welcome for a wireless charging function. If it goes through the day without any problems, than no need for super high speed chargers as in the end it will only drop battery lifetime. So yes, I am seriously thinking of getting one, and at a 40% discount and likely cheaper screen repair costs. Shouldn't be regretting it. Next I want to see carbon fiber backs, instead of fingerprint glass (probably get silver this time, also as it heats up less on a terrace when they reopen).

I am a user from Apple, OnePlus and I am using at the moment 7t pro. After all different usage of phones I am very much profound that at the end of the day we need a good ram and for sure a very promising camera because I like to take pictures, When I travel importantly. I can not render any bad quality in photos therefore my interest will incline towards this device as it is offering a very good practical mobile camera with other different aspects

I salute the initiative of educating people about the offerings of the tech market. Even if not currently looking to purchase a smartphone, these videos are really cool to watch as leisure activity. Small details like the Chewy t-shirt also contribute in a pleasant manner.

Good feature to note: I don't know about other Xiaomi phones but my Mi 10T has a "video toolbox" feature. You can actually boost audio of videos and also a screenshot, screen record and floating window widget for video platforms like KZfaq and Netflix.

What do you think? Is the camera/video (and SW features around) better on Samsung Galaxy S20 (G980F) or Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro? I really would like to know because not sure which one to buy next days. I'm going to start some video shooting with gimbal and then editing/postprocessing (want to get some experience with DaVinci Resolve and I know Kdenlive, SonyVegas a bit). Let's say that I am not "standard user" but rather a bit geek/technical kind of person (Computer science, computer graphics and geometry knowledge, Linux).

OMG! MEMC?! I loved increasing the frames on my videos. Anime at 60fps is just way better than the default. The last phone I knew had this was the old Mediatek ones. Time to buy a new phone.

I still prefer a headphone Jack and a removable micro SD card. But if I would like to buy a smartphone without a removable micro SD card and without a headphone jack. Then this would have been my preference for the time being.

Yeah, they are basically a deal breaker for me as well, but I'll get over them somehow. I fortunately own the amazing Creative SXFI TRIO, so I can live without my headphones with 3.5 mm jacks. As for storage space... it's all in the cloud, baby! :)

LCD + no pop-up is a huge plus for me. Never liked disposable AMOLEDs that skews color at lower brightness and will have burn-in when you watch lots of KZfaq (especially in portrait) for example. AMOLED + mechanical camera were just "features" making phones that were already disposable more "disposable".

@@mydickisincrediblytinyandi7380 I avoided it. Does that mean that I shouldn't suppose to know that AMOLEDs still burn-in or even have color tinting? NO. It's easy to check the forums. Reddit, Samsung and XDA to name a few. How about actual phone itself? I have co-workers that are Samsung fanatic owning a Note 9, S9 and the midrangers A70 and A50. They use splitscreen during work most of the time like I also do but what I have is "just" a phone with an LCD panel and guess what, none of their phones can display pure white fullscreen now, it's either has dirty white, splitscreen line or KZfaq in portrait line that were permanently there while my poor LCD has much better white rendition full screen without any smear or burn-in. The Note 9 with same age as mine has reddish color or pinkish tint on supposedly full-white content. lol. It's as simple as this: AMOLED is a huge handicap for any of my use-cases, it's simply not for me.
