In my opinion as an iPhone 5 user who'd like to invest in a new phone, actually, I'm really liking the Mi 10T Pro's performance on the camera. As a Photographer as well, having such a high megapixel camera phone will not really be good in a dark scenario - so make sure that you do have a good light condition at least even at night. If there's a street light nearby where you are shooting, remember to take advantage of it since lighting is always important when you're taking pictures. When it comes to selfies, both are great tbh. It's just up to the user if he/she likes the shots from Samsung or Xiaomi. But still, always remember that you can edit your photos in post, and trust me, most of the camera-centric people still edits their shots a bit even if it is taken on a dslr or a phone camera. Always remember that the Mi 10T Pro's has a pro mode and it will really shine for sure, I'm not sure if the S20 FE has a pro mode since I wasn't able to see it while testing it on the concept stores. :) As a Filipino who's looking for the next phone, I'll go with the Mi 10T Pro since it has good specs for cheaper priceeeeeee!! #HopingToWinTheGiveaway ♥

Samsung S20 Fe selfie looks better in exposure than Mi 10t pro that have washed out background and warmer color. But I think mi 10t pro has the true color accuracy base on the chair that represent the true color black. Samsung Galaxy S20 has a little bit wider field of view than Mi 10t pro. But I Still choose Mi10t pro for overall performance 👍👍👍👍👍👍

Mi 10 T pro definitely had an big advantage for its main sensor even in ultra wide shots... Details are more crispy, having good dynamic range in pictures But the problem is software, images are not consistent... Sometimes oversharpening images and night mode has to be improve And for s20 Fe... A good main sensor with consistent op.. And a deal breaker 3x telephoto lens.. Both are good...

For the selfie camera, I think the S20 FE kept the same cool tone and grabbed more details on the face but the skin tone was a bit pale. The Mi 10T Pro kept its warm tone and grabbed more details and texture on the hoodie but it had a smoothing effect on the face. The skin tone seemed to be more realistic though. For me, bokeh effect on the selfie portrait was better on the Mi 10T Pro. The S20 FE failed to properly blur the chair especially on the right side. Overall, I prefer the Mi 10T Pro since it usually grabbed more details, texture, and more true-to-life colors. Others will prefer the S20 FE because the photos are brighter and has a cooler tone so it still depends on the user's preference. I hope both of these phones while improve with future updates. In terms of selfie video and audio, S20 FE is far better but I prefer the overall image quality of Mi 10T's back camera. Software optimization is still a long way to go for both of them. I think it's time for Xiaomi to upgrade its selfie camera hardware.

I prefer most day time shot of 10T . 10T's selfie is very true to life color for sure but I'd prefer a little bit brighter ( for indoor selfie ) , S20FE selfie just looks so pale to me . I think somewhere in between these two color profile should be great . For that price and performance I think Mi10T blow Samsung out of the water ! Thanks again for the comprehensive review bro !

I like the warm tone on mi 10t Pro's selfie photo but the edge detection is a bit too harsh that it included the chair to the background and blurred it. Unlike s20 fe the edge detection is not perfect but i like how it include the chair into the foreground. But overall both did great job

Good comparison video again! Mi 10t pro clearly has better results on details and gives a natural render. I'm not disappointed about my new Mi 10 Ultra!

First of all we really appreciate your efforts in bringing us these true camera comparisons. Yes, samsung did great with front camera video and night shots but still I like the warm colour tone in pictures clicked from MI 10 T pro. Overall MI 10 T pro is a more pronounced and gives true to life colour rendition. Also, samsung except for 4 countries releases there phones with inferrrior chipset- exynos and even the image signal processor is weaker as compared to the snapdragon which your phone has in the comparison. So, bottom line MI 10 T pro is a better bet.

I am expected more from samsung but they showed price difference in performance.... In that selfie picture mi 10t pro object background was blown out edge detection not as good as samsung fe (notice thumb finger edge detection), samsung produced selfie with more details and better audio quality (mic) on selfi vedio.

Samsung was better able to separate the cap from the background, and Samsung's face with a natural color. Xiaomi has more details, but missed the white balance, and did not qualitatively separate the body from the background. it seems that xiaomi put some effect on the face. Maybe angle on Samsung is wider. Main camera better on mi10tpro, but i love selfie so my choice is Samsung 👍 Thanks for great comparison.

Hi Hans, this is the first time I have disagreed with what you have said here and its about the night time photos. To me the Mi10T Pro seemed to take a better all around night time photo than the Samsung. I know it comes down to personal preferences but looking at the samples you have provided the Xiaomi seems to win it in that portion of the comparison. Still a great video too. 🙏👍😉

Wow... very unbias comparison hans... though the mi 10t pro did better with its rear camera but for the selfie department, I will definitely pick the Samsung fe because of its wider field of view, better skin tone, controlled contrast and highlight. On the other hand, the mi 10t pro selfie pictures has a failed white balance and also uncontrolled exposure.. so i prefer the Samsung fe selfie camera in reference to your photos and I hope xiaomi fixes the selfie camera soon with future and Samsung should do the same on its rear camera too

Can't deny how xiaomi is improving its camera performance in it's every smartphone update.... looking at the flagship sensor on both FE and mi 10t pro.... samsung disappointed me this time

Like from your fans! And thank you for your work! So. Selfie photo. Probably, the white balance is better for Samsung. The details are approximately the same. But Samsung has a wider coverage angle. And Samsung has a better background. Xiaomi's background is too much overexposed. So much so that the door pattern is blurred. The edges of the door in the background are completely blurred! And it is because of this reason that you can not call a selfie photo of Xiaomi better than that of Samsung! It is because of the overexposure of the background that I have to call the selfie photo of Samsung better than that of Xiaomi.

Does the S20 FE still have ghost touch issue?

Funniest moment: Samara's vampire like teeth, misused zooming feature😂 For the selfies I think Mi 10T Pro's background bokeh is a bit more while Samsung image looks more natural but then Samsung's white balance doesn't work well while Mi 10T Pro did good with skin color

I would choose Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro over Samsung S20 FE.. Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro is better in terms of dynamic range close to natural colours and better white balance.. Samsung S20 FE also did well.. but Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro is better.. coming to selfie Samsung S20 FE takes bright and punchy colour with better background.. but skin smoothing hurts in Samsung S20 FE.. S20FE selfie was having higher exposure and cooler tone while Mi10T pro was having controlled lower exposure with warmer tone and better details than S20FE

Samsung FE has cooler colour temperature with good exposure while MI 10T has warmer colour temperature and more details

The samsung s20fe has a brighter skin tone and has a issue on focusing on the subject. While the mi10t pro has a better focus and skin tone. But the samsung s20fe has better details, I think they both have a good background blur.

At 9.40" selfie potrait looking eye pleasing by S20 FE. But mi 10T pro did better job for skin colour even blur of your chair which cannot make by FE.

it's a close in my honest opinion. well atleast xiaomi improved a lot, it just that their camera software still need some work especially it's night mode.

In the daylight Mi10T pro is better... But s20 FE is better in low light.. Selfie HDR is better in s20 FE( 9:30 ). & video quality both are very similar..

The truth that both front camera are not up to flagship. Mi 10t selfie has a warm tone why Samsung has white tone. When it comes to details I think Mi 10t grab more details Base on the colour of ur cloth and cap but intense of edge detecting Samsung did better, but it still depend on ur prefences.

I think it's my only hope to get a new phone and to replace my galaxy j2prime
