I'm a professional photographer and i can tell the issuses of mi 11 ultra where peresent in mi 6,mi 8,mi 9 and nearly all of their smartphones. horrible skin tones, horrible night mode, no hdr for portraits(front and back), underexposing, overexposing of selfies... none of them has been fixed. yeah the video seems better but it can't be used for anything because of those 🎨

When I saw the very first camera review of the Xiaomi, by a guy in China, I was superexcited. Everything seemed excellent. But review after review, my expectations kinda dropped down a bit.

Very easy win for the S21 Ultra. Clearly, it's a match between supremely optimized software processing of S21 Ultra vs the Work-in-Progress Beta version processing of Mi 11 Ultra. Xiaomi's Ultra definitely needs at least a couple of months to bring forward a true Ultra.

Same 😂 Saw the specs of the Mi 11 Ultra, and really started to regret going for the S21 Ultra but this proves throwing these 'big numbers' in a phone doesn't automatically make it an 'Ultra' phone. The only real Ultra is the S21.

@@iconfuez6538 yup, same here. When the Mi 11u was announced, I was like damn it, I should have waited for this instead of buying the S21 Ultra exynos version. Not that it was bad, quite the contrary, but the specs on the Mi 11 Ultra were mind blowing. But this just shows how Apple and Samsung are far ahead in terms of optimizations, they know just how to take advantage of their hardware.

@@kb24theMVP agree. imo never buy 1000 plus dollar phone from chinese brand. if you have that amount of money, choose apple or samsung both of them are much more matured and reliable. Chinese brands rely on big words and flashy specs to compete with them, and a lot of times it just words, and empty hype. That being said, their budget phones are amazing thou ie Poco f3. much better value than apple and samsung midrange.

Xiaomi really improved on a lot of things. If you want to move up from being a flagship killer to a high-end premium flagship, you need to throw the kitchen sink into creating a phone. Xiaomi's Mi 11 Ultra is great at being a high-end premium flagship but lacks software utilization, especially in the camera department. It needs to intensively use the SD888 chip for extra image processing and utilize the rear display on video also. I hope the MIUI 12.5 update can support those needed changes.

The Mi 11 Ultra comes out ahead of the Galaxy S21 Ultra in Most of the other Reviewers Camera tests, with the Larger Samsung 50mp Sensor, with 1.4 μm wide pixels, 2 Sony 48mp cameras, Periscope and Wide Angle, 5000 battery with 67 watts wireless charging. My Favorite Phone is the Zfold2 but I will upgrade to the Mi11Ultra for the Cameras!.

@@vijitvashishtha9916 the difference isn't that noticeable anymore, I would even argue that there isn't any difference. The only real issue you may encounter is pro-longed gaming sessions, but for the rest, it's on pair with Snapdragon.

@@iconfuez6538 what are u saying Exynos 2100 cannot play genshin impact at 60fps pubg dont get max graphic options, damonps2, dolphin, yuzu all struggle to run at 60fps, which a 2 year old s855 can do. S21 ultra costs more than 1400$(105000) why would someone pay that much premium for a device that don't have latest and greatest specs. Speaking of cam it should or i say must have better cameras than mi 11 ultra because it costs double

So most test see the xiamoi device in front... never saw these bad images in comparison to the samsung... so in my eyes you got a broken model or you picked very special fotos to compare... if even one of this mi 11 pictures was true. then xiaomi bribed many test companys and other youtubers... can be true but not very likely... maybe you reshoot your pictures... most of them look so fake like bad photoshop... with these xiaomi pictures you would lost against most 2017 midrange smartphones... so i call bulshit on this test...

In future camera comparisons you should include some indoor photos and videos for comparison, they are much more useful than those ultra zoom photos for example

I think the Xiaomi Mi 11 has the potential hardware to be the better phone but what it lacks is the image processing algorithms of Samsung which are currently the better implementation. Maybe after SW updates from Xiaomi a re-test can show different results

Both amazing phones. Nice to see Android finally taking the #1 slot over Apple. I love Xiaomi and the cameras will get better with updates but so will the S21 Ultra, so I don't think it will catch up. But it's nice to see another company right on the heels of Samsung. More options.
