Thank you for making these comparison reviews. Im a big fan of xiaomi devices too but man are their products cluttered. Plus the naming conventions (or lack thereof) 🙄

Just as a note, the Yeelight one not only has the hanger and adhesive mounting but also quite a strong magnet. To be honest that magnet makes it really really easy to just stick it onto so many things!

The "hanging" accessory on the Mijia should not be glued to the adhesive but inserted in the battery slot :)

Would be cool if that would work. But it does not really. And even the manual shows to put it on the glue.

Hello there! Just a thing is unclear... Do any of those model uses at the same time movement + light sensor? What I would like is the lamp to turn on automatically if someone is passing but only if it is dark. Thanks!

Davide Nastri there's no timer, they always turn on when they see movement. When the amount of daylight Lux drops below 'x' then they will turn in the moment they see movement

That is not true for the smaller model. It will turn on if it sees movement also if it is daylight.

Davide Nastri I didn't say which model ;) let me just check to be 100% sure for the Mijia. The smaller one has three switches, off, on and motion. I am having coffee now, will come back to you in a moment.

Seems like both have dual sensors (light / movement), according to their website. Ok now I officially cannot decide which one to buy :D

The one with battery definitely yes, it turns on when it is dark.

Hi Martjin, Thanks for the detailed comparison. I have a question. Can any of these connect to the Mi Home app? I wonder if it can trigger a scene. For example, "If Yeelight motion detected, Then camera record..." something like this. It would be nice to replace normal Mi Motion Sensors with these. Please let me know. Thank you.

xiaomi mijia night life.....I have them 5 years and they work with the same batteries...... Amazing product..... I also have non branded sensor lights and they eat my batteries once every 2-3 months.

Thank you for good information. If both lights detect movement during operation, lights continue working without auto turnoff (15 sec) ? or turn-off and turn-on repeatedly?

Tony Delovski but if u keep moving there’s motion. So 15 seconds after u walk off from the light seems sufficient. After 15 seconds u are far away from the light already any way

I personally don't think that the Yeelight Nightlight provides enough light to be actually practical

Did you actually buy it? I have 3 of these for over a year, as a night light they provide A LOT of light.. you are supposed to use it as, well, a night light - not to bump into stuff as you take a piss at night, not to light up your garage.

@@CRANEREVIEWS Yes sir I have one of these. The amount of light emitted by the yeelight nightlight is 3.5 lumen in auto mode and 7 lumen in manual mode. A typical light bulb is about 100x brighter or more. I know that's its meant to be a night light but I prefer the wireless charging nightstand they make its much brighter. Anyway I'm not having a go at the video or anything just wanted to voice my opinion
