@@ak-2005 6 year updates won't make any phone better bro. Iphones slow down with each update so it's pointless. If I were you I never update my phone once Im in a stable build. What do you mean by more apps? iOS apps are very less compared to Android and everyone knows this. Mi pad 5 is clearly better in every aspects except in performance and ui. Miui is shit but for the price it's way better than what apple is offering.

@@tonyvarghese8305 i went for a 64gb model, I already had an external ssd, so my major focus was on performance rather than storage. This proved a much cheaper option

How is it working?

@@devanshdwivedi5744 It's really really good. The display is superb for an IPS panel. It can't do true blacks like AMOLED of course, but the blacks and contrast are amazing nonetheless, much better than other IPS displays out there. Performance is a breeze, SD 860 handles everything with ease. I still haven't seen any lag. It even runs CoD on high graphics at a steady 60-70 fps with minimal heating, Alto's Odyssey and Bullet Force work at 120 FPS smoothly. And the 120hz screen also doesn't stutter throughout the UI so great performance. Speakers definitely blew me away, they're as loud and clear as a small Bluetooth speaker, enough to fill a room. The only downside is MIUI. Even though it's mostly well optomized, there are certain bugs here and there, but nothing that will make you hate it. If you're thinking of buying this, I can assure you to go for it without any second thoughts. It's a great tablet overall, definitely the best Android tab in its price range

@@user-gv5tl1wu9v bro i was so pissed Oneplus 6t was working like a charm in gaming everything Update installed I found the performance was worse than before Oneplus 6t sometimes would have frame drops in pubg or codm at the time which was confusing asf considering at that time 6gb and snapdragon 845+ was strong asf and oneplus was very op in 2019 like 7 was crazy good 6t was crazy popular and good too It pissed me off cuz i just bought it and then after a week update ruins my whole experience Xd Had to use it for a year somewhat it lasted I still have oneplus no usage just calls etc But it lags even if u don’t use it lol I open the screen and it lags so badly sometimes that i have to reset it multiple times Rip

tell me this. ive always been an android user. never used apple and no apple account etc. thinking of going for this now but is it suitable for me ? im not into gaming camera etc. all i need it for, is watching utube FB browsing, zoom calls etc. so i want a good experience. can i use my google account for browser and FB etc here ? also my yahoo email and samsung apps ? i mean whats the scene in that regard ? or do u suggest i go for some other tab ? im really tempted to get this coz i want my 1st apple experience. available for 27k at croma.

@@deccanhistory no it was 27999. bought it yesterday. its very good. but i got only 1 problem. i realised after using it that it needs to be held by both hands all the time. probably made a little misjudgement. i actually wanted something bigger than a normal phone but small enough to use with a single hand. i mean sometimes if both hands needed its ok but this one is such that u cant do a single thing with 1 hand.. but ill use this anyway for a few months and look for something else later. what do u suggest for me. i just need utube vids and a few apps like FB and a decent browsing experience. and headfone jack is a must. thats all i need

Tabs are not having much of a custom rom experience in the past. And if they have, they are usually more buggy than any smartphone. So, software support on xiaomi pad is total deal breaker in comparison to an ipad.

@@brock7672 custom roms aren't available because of the non availability of Tablets. If Xiaomi end up realising more tabs then I guess alone Xiaomi would be enough to push the development of custom roms, and it's actually not that difficult to make custom roms. I end up porting Resurrection Remix Rom for my Micromax Phone long back and that was the only Custom Rom for that phone 😂

@@tobito__ cause back in the day both tablets had the same price , now the iPad 9 got a 20% price increase. Most of the times the iPads last for 6 to 8 years but most android tablets are died after 2 or 3 , so back then with both of em at the same price the iPad was a no brainier. Also u can find many 3rd party accessories or repair shops that works with iPads no with other tablets though . But now that the price and the iPad is older ofc I would choose something newer.

@@rajivbhatia9036 tbh for note taking, both will do the work just fine, but if u prefer more versatility for stylus choices, ipad have a lot of 3rd parties stylus that might work but the original one is suck. On the other hand, Mi pad don't have that many alternatives but i just bought the Mi stylus and i love it

Yeah, but we forgot the fact that the last few years of its updates are as good as nothing because new software features won't be given so easily to old devices and also each update slows down the iPad.

true, but it's sad that first gen ipad mini can't have a working youtube app, or disney hotstar and similar streaming app due to "ios limitation". meanwhile android tablet produced in the same year could install all application.

If only ios apps were installable from third party sources. The jailbreaking or alstore method is still restrictive compared to normal unrooted android.

i am using an ipad 5th gen in fact typing this comment on it. It is definitely not as smooth when it was new but its very very usable. it handles basic tasks like youtube, chrome, pdfs excels etc just fine. played BGMI/PUBG on it for a while, and i would say its not that fun on it. My friend has ipad 9th gen, playing games on it is just on another level. Now coming to your android part, it has come a long way since the nexus tablet days. My cousin uses a galaxy tab s3 launched in around the same time as my ipad 5th gen. I would say that both their performances are more or less the same. so there you go make your decision wisely.

I would not suggest an Android tablet for anything other than watching videos. If you intend to do even a little work on your tablet, iPad is a much better choice. The software is miles ahead and will keep it’s performance for many years. Base model iPad (64gb) is the most value for money tech product in any category by far, it’s not even close.
