Neither are not very good midrange phones, when you compare them to one's like Samsung, even their newest A series a34 or a54. Or especially the others like Hauwei. These should be more like 100-150$ budget phones.

why do u say the redmi 12 is not a good phone in the comments below ? based on what , the phone is a budget phone ? whats bettter for the same price ? 13c only 4gb ram in most cuntries? while 12 comes 8gb for similiar price to 13c? please explain from tech point of veiw ?

Software is very bad on these Xiaomi models.. doesn't matter if it has 4gb 8gb or 32gb of ram... It will still lag because of poor optimisation of MIUI
